LifeSlice Photography started in 2009 as a part-time business by Mike and Elsie Nordtvedt. We are well known for our ability to capture a couple’s unique and beautiful story. We have a knack for helping the bride and groom feel how beautiful, stunning, and magnificent they truly are. After five years, we became full-time photographers. Wedding photography, take us up and down I-5, all over the state of Oregon and beyond. We have even had the chance to travel to Eastern Europe and work with orphans in Belarus. My journey in photographing started when my sister handed me her old 35mm camera and said “Go have fun!”. I was hooked! I haven’t been able to put a camera down since. I love using natural light to create soft, organic and romantic images. I shoot digital now but love tossing in a bit of film every now and then. I love hear couples love stories, their hope and dreams for their lives together. So here is ours! I met my hubby when I was 17. We began our happily ever after 3 years later when we were married at a private home along the McKenzie river in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We now have two beautiful children and two adorable puppies.

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Hi there! I'm Hannah! I'm an adventurer at heart- I love backpacking and exploring central Oregon. I'm one of the rare people that is actually from Bend - but I started my photography career in New York City capturing events for Central Park. I met my husband, convinced him we were Oregonians at heart and moved back! My philosophy for photography is that when you look at your photos a few week after your wedding you think not only about how amazing you look- but how natural & wonderful you felt. We both met in college in Nampa, Idaho where I was studying Film. I studied and obsessed over every beautiful film out there & eventually wanted to be a Director of Photography one day (people who setup lighting for movie scenes). I watched, analyzed, and obsessed over every award-winning film in existence. I yearned to learn how film production studios lit every scene & thoroughly enjoyed constantly listening to great film scores. Almost finished with film school, I purchased my very first camera.

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Our wedding business started out with me shooting a wedding video for a very dear friend of mine in 2017. I posted the video to a Facebook business page and BOOM! It received 200,000 views and we started receiving hundreds of inquiries from couples around the PNW. Every year I would book 30-40 weddings doing photos and videos for couples. When COVID struck, we had a year crashing into the next year. We had to adapt. So I grew our company to 8 teams of pro photographers/videographers to cover weddings around the US. There is nothing better than capturing love on the biggest day ever. Every day we are thankful to be able to do this.
