We offer a beautiful rustic chic barn with bridal and grooms suite. We offer indoor or outdoor sites. We have a doctor closet full of simple and elegant decor that you can use free of charge. You get use of the venue all day on Friday from 9am-9pm to set up the space and make it your own. You also get a day of coordinator that is included in the price. She will come on Friday to do a rehearsal for your bridal party. On Saturday you get use of the venue from 9am until midnight. We provide you with staff during your wedding to help with anything that needs to be done. You also get two parking attendants and golf cart service for an hour prior to your wedding.

Such a beautiful venue! My day of coordinator, Rachel, made everything SOOO easy and helped me with ANYTHING I needed! I don’t think the day would’ve gone off as smoothly as it did without her! They do provide a list of preferred vendors, which makes it A LOT easier to book vendors instead of searching for them yourself. They do the majority if not all of the heavy lifting for you! The venue is ABSOLUTELY stunning too! From the ceremony space to the bridal cabin, it was just overall such a beautiful place; I’m STILL getting compliments on the venue! I honestly want to go back and do it all over again!

We get hosted our Welcome Mixer at Cochran Mill Brewing and what a time we had!! We didn’t make reservations or pre arrange anything- we just showed up!!!! They were ready and super nice!!!! I appreciate all the staff and the food truck that was there that night. A great place to relax and drink some great beer!! Indoor and outdoor seating- such a relaxing vibe!!

It was amazing hosting my brokerage launch on this space. It’s beautifully decorated and spoke to my niche clientele. The 2 levels gave us room the really launch the way envisioned. The circular driveway was nice for the valet attendants. The formal staircase was breathtaking on entry. We will definitely be hosting here again.

I can't say enough how beautiful this venue is. Lela's Place is a spacious, the landscaping is fabulous and always evolving, and the venue host, Lela, is a DELIGHT to work with. She is so sweet and thoughtful. We booked our wedding of about 85 people more than a year in advanced and she communicated regularly to ensure we got exactly what wanted on the day of. We also chose Lela to be our day of coordinator and she did a fabulous job, and that was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. She coordinated with the vendors, set up the tables, and ensured the day went smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding and no issues arose. All my guests told me how sweet and helpful Lela was and how beautiful her venue was. Definitely check her out, she's wonderful!

We were one of the many couples who had our plans shifted due to COVID-19. Our original date was in October 2020, but due to multiple changes, my husband and I opted to downsize to a mini ceremony and family dinner. We planned to have a one year anniversary party to include the loved ones we couldn't during 2020. After so much stress in the original planning, we were overjoyed to find out that we were chosen as the couple to receive The Dottie's grand opening anniversary party. From the first phone call with Krista and Kingslea at The Dottie, I knew we had picked the right planning team for our belated reception! Even with it being a giveaway, I never once felt like we were a secondary client. Brides, you know it's a big risk to choose someone as your wedding planner, so let me reassure you, this is THE TEAM for you. Originally I thought could do it all myself, but I didn't know how much I needed a planner until I had a planner. Each step of the way, their team coordinated everything with our vendors so we could actually just be excited about the event. Our planner was attentive to special family dynamics and made our day-of event so much easier. I had full confidence that once I told her something, it would be handled with excellence. I can confidently say they are worth the investment! As for the venue, it is the best wedding venue I've seen. Having been in multiple weddings, including my own (before our anniversary party here), I know that the details matter. The culture of hospitality radiates from the structure of the venue itself to the attitude of the team members. I felt so welcomed and like they thought ahead about how to maximize our experience. Getting ready: The bride and groom suites are tailored for the needs of each group. For the bridal party they have a suite with: 1) lots of mirrors with natural daylight for making sure you feel 100% as you get ready; 2) a lounge with a mini kitchen (ex: perfect for a charcuterie station) for enjoying the down time; 3) a private bathroom that's just for the bride/bridal party including a shower. The suite was full of thoughtful details like an emergency sewing kit that saved us when we had a dress mishap 5 minutes before pictures. For the groom's suite they have a space with: 1) a lounge with large flatscreen TV for catching whichever big game is on during down time; 2) a mini kitchen for the groom's favorite snacks; 3) private bathroom (also with shower) just for the groom's party. There is an additional room where family can have their own space while getting ready or in down time between events. The big event: The main room is beautiful and a perfect blank canvas for your dream day! It holds up to 500 people and has very tall ceilings (over two stories tall). With our 125 guests, we felt very spaced out. The external walls have huge garage doors that can open for fresh air circulation (great for an event during any time, especially a hot GA summer day or a pandemic). The space is versatile and could easily be used for a ceremony and rearranged for the reception. The outdoor patio surrounding the space was great for pretty photos. We opted to have a live band which made it the ultimate fun party space with loved ones. All in all, I’d give 10/10 for this venue and their all star team. I will definitely look for ways to partner with them again in the future!

Where do I start ? First this review is long overdue! I couldn’t give a more glowing review for the Veranda’s staff and Lori Burnett, the coordinator/planner for our wedding. To say Lori is an excellent wedding coordinator/planner is really doing her an injustice. Lori was on point with every single aspect of our wedding. We were coming from out of state , which makes planning a wedding difficult to say the least. We had a few issues with our original caterer and had to switch it up virtually last minute and Lori was with us the entire time ensuring us everything would be perfect. She worked closely with all of our vendors to ensure the day was seamless! She had endless ideas that gave us the ability to have the look and feel that we were looking for on our special day. We went in hoping for the best but knowing , it’s virtually impossible to have everything go perfect on your wedding day. Thanks to Lori, the incredible staff and the vendors our day was absolutely perfect. Lori asked for a sort of report card of our day wondering what they could have done different or better and so on. Even this far out from that day I can not think of a single thing. Everything from our breakfast, made by the wonderful Ms Lavern to the last dance of the night ,was exactly how we wanted it down to the smallest details ! Lori really busted her butt the whole weekend and I’m sure in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. The Veranda was decorated beautifully, Lori was in super early getting everything ready the day of, coordinating the staff and vendors like an elite maestro preforming a flawless rendition of Mozart! I recommend the Watson center as a wedding and reception venue because not only is a great location but it is next to a beautiful lake with nice outdoor feels. Our wedding pictures came out beautiful in front of the lake.The Watson center staff was very accommodating as well any hiccups that happen they fixed immediately. The Butterfly Pavilion was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we reached out, their communication was quick, and they were so kind! The team worked with us to create a fully customizable experience, and the venue was so spacious, there was tons of room for all my guests. There was even room for two food trucks at the reception. The venue itself was the most beautiful we toured (so beautiful in person), with a serene and secluded feel while still being close to the city. The bridal suite was a dream to get ready in, and we loved driving around the property to take the most beautiful photos(we were shuttled around in a golf cart). The Butterfly Pavilion's preferred vendor list was also incredibly helpful in planning our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue - it truly felt like a fairytale come true!

Elegant Affairs venue was amazing. We submitted our ideas for decor and cakes. The outcome was more than we expected. The whole day was very smooth. We didn't have to worry about anything. The cake tasted just as amazing as the 1st tasting. The food was great, it was just lukewarm. My guest informed me that the bartender was rude. The pictures wasn't that great, some the lighting was off, some the lens was blurry, several the people wasn't in sync. The DJ was nice, he kept the guest dancing. Our overall experience was great. We appreciate Dione and everyone that made our day amazing.
