1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

Imagine a poolside ceremony and reception with soft lights, white-clothed tables and candle centerpieces and sophisticated indoor space with sliding glass doors that open directly to an outside covered patio overlooking the pool, allowing for the perfect indoor and outdoor experience for you and your guests. Our venue is a well-designed canvas that can be used as-is or customized for your style. To date, we've hosted over 100 events, including small weddings, elopements, rehearsal dinners, bridal brunches and everything in between. We look forward to making memories with you!

Our modern, beautifully designed venue offers over 3,000 sq. ft. of open space perfect for weddings of all sizes—up to 250 guests. We include tables, chairs, black or white linens, a caterer’s kitchen, elegant restrooms, Bluetooth stereo with mics, and a rolling bar. Custom pricing is based on your guest count, event type, and day of the week. All bookings include cleaning, same-day event insurance, and required security for events over 100 guests. We require licensed, insured bartenders for alcohol service—no shots allowed and no service to guests under 21. A $500 damage deposit is held and released after post-event inspection. Additional services like full trash removal and enhanced décor can be added from our preferred vendor list we provide once we have a "Save The Date. Skewed Orbit Studios is nestled just off Atlanta’s vibrant East Beltline, our studio offers a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that blends historic charm with modern loft-style elegance. Located inside Studioplex Lofts, this historic building was originally built in 1905 as a cotton mill property and now provides charm and timeless beauty. The soaring 20-foot ceilings, expansive skylights, and industrial window walls flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both ceremonies and receptions. The open layout offers incredible versatility, ideal for creative décor, romantic lighting, and unforgettable celebrations. Skewed Orbit Studios is more than just a venue; it's a distinctive canvas in the heart of Atlanta where your love story can take center stage.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Cove Acre Farms was a working livestock farm for much of the 20th century, and still bears the character of those years. It was transformed into an event venue in 2014 by the Wright family. The Johnson family purchased the farm in early 2018 and have since turned it to one of the most unique wedding barns in Alabama. The barn is surrounded by farmland as far as can be seen, with a clear creek that flows through the property year round. The barn is approximately 14,000 square feet including two large, open balconies. The lower level includes bride and groom rooms with private baths. You may hold your event where you would like on the property, though we do have a few suggestions. The barn offers a large room downstairs, and a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage upstairs for indoor events. Outdoor options include: a lovely arbor in a manicured lawn, in front of mature hardwood trees, or one of several creek-side settings.

The Muse Family: Muse Farm in Bremen, Georgia was established in 1953 by Mr. and Mrs. Beunah Muse. The Farm remains in the family today and serves as one of West Georgia’s premier event venues. Jared, Amy, and Brayden Muse are the current proprietors of the 80 acre Farm that includes a Chapel and spacious bridal suite. The venue, though only a few short miles from the city of Bremen, is surrounded by spectacular views and nature, making for a breathtaking backdrop for magical ceremonies and memorable celebrations. The Muse's attention to detail, personal contribution to flawless event execution, and dedication to their patrons are the hallmarks of the Farm's customer service, keeping the venue busy with events year round.

Historic Red Farm offers multiple ceremony options for your vows. A popular ceremony site is our gentle sloping lawn overlooking a picturesque lake surrounded by rolling hills. This is but a short walk from the house down a freshly mowed meadow.

The Gathering Spot Atlanta is housed in the North Yards business park. Once known as the Southern Railway North Avenue Yards, this site is now a historical railroad landmark. Our flexible space is inspired by our community of professionals, start-up entrepreneurs, music industry execs, filmmakers, and creatives.

The Student Success Center boasts over 12,400 square feet of event space, ranging from boardrooms for 16 to suites for 240. The venue’s 32 sky boxes are also available for unique small meetings and events with fantastic views of Bobby Dodd Stadium and historic Grant Field – the oldest on-campus stadium in the NCAA.

The indoor space can seat up to 100 friends and family members for more intimate celebrations. Among the amenities at SCAD Ivy Hall are complimentary WiFi, get-ready rooms, a catering kitchen, parking, and wheelchair access.
