I was in my final year of nursing school in Minnesota when we got engaged, so planning a wedding out of state came with challenges. Shanoah was incredibly helpful throughout the process. We had our initial consultation over Zoom, and right away, I felt confident in her approach. I wanted a photographer who captured clear, well-lit photos that felt authentic and made us feel comfortable. Shanoah was exactly that. We immediately clicked, and we decided to book her Silver Wedding Photography Experience, which included 8 hours of coverage, a second shooter for 2 hours, a 30-minute engagement session, and a No. 2 Album. Since we were in Minnesota for most of our engagement, we had engagement photos taken by a different photographer. On the wedding day, Shanoah arrived with a smile—and coffee for both the bride and groom! She communicated her plan clearly, explained what she would be doing, and helped with everything from fixing dresses to teaching my maid of honor how to arrange my veil. She gave us gentle prompts, helping us feel relaxed while capturing meaningful moments. Even when family members stepped in to direct photo lineups or adjust dresses, Shanoah remained gracious and professional. She kindly offered suggestions when necessary to keep things on track, always respectful and joyful. My husband (then fiancé) and I were searching for a wedding photographer in the Cleveland area when we stumbled upon Drzazga Photo. Best thing to happen to us!! Early on in my planning I knew my wedding aesthetic was going to be boho rustic and I wanted a photographer who would be able to capture it well. We found that in Carly, and honestly, she can make any wedding style look fantastic in her photos!! If you haven’t checked out her work, DO IT ASAP! Not only are the photos she takes beautiful, but Carly’s eye for angles and poses is astounding. She’s incredibly talented and SUPER sweet. Both my husband and I are uncomfortable in front of the camera, but when working with Carly, she made us feel super comfortable and being photographed by her was actually fun. She’s also available at a really great price. While searching for photographers with similar style and quality, we found most of them were way out of our price range. Now that she has an associate team, you can get the same quality for even a bit cheaper! I didn’t work with the associate team, so I can’t speak to how they interact with their clients, but if you can, don’t skimp on having Carly shoot for you, I promise you won’t regret it! She not only gives you great quality for a great value, but she even includes an engagement photoshoot! (Although complimentary, the photos we got blew us out of the water and also got us really excited to see what she would be able to do at our wedding!) Spoiler alert: she crushed it! “It was such a pleasure to have Grace as our photographer throughout this wedding journey. We had her shoot our engagement photos (which we loved!) in addition to our wedding. She was very communicative. From the very beginning, she was clear on pricing. She would always work with my schedule when setting up meetings to go over timelines. She even went over every photo with me after the engagement shoot to make sure that we’re all exactly what I was envisioning. On our wedding day she literally went above and beyond for us as well. She brought an assistant with her, as well as some great props and florals to be used in the photos. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property.
