The backdrop was absolutely gorgeous, and the ceremony was even more beautiful than we could have imagined! The photos we got were stunning. I can’t imagine how beautiful it would be when the trees are full!\n\nBrie, our day-of coordinator, was phenomenal. She was on top of every detail, quick to respond to any issues, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We never had to worry about a thing because she had it all handled seamlessly. She has impeccable taste, and we loved that she was comfortable voicing her opinion on small details we couldn’t decide on. \n\nCurt and the entire catering team did an amazing job—our guests are still raving about the food! From cocktail hour to the late-night snacks, everything was delicious, and they even accommodated last-minute dietary needs without hesitation. If I had to pick one item that I would eat every day for the rest of my life, it would be the mini monte cristos from cocktail hour!!!\n\nThe staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We were never without a drink in hand, and the bar service was so efficient that there was never a line. A special shoutout to Cheryl and Chrissy, who were always right there whenever we needed anything. They even checked in with other guests to make sure everyone had what they needed for a fun night! Their attentiveness made such a difference in our day. \n\nIf anything went wrong, we certainly never noticed! The entire experience was smooth, stress-free, and absolutely unforgettable. We had an appointment with Cathy O'Brien (we still keep in touch with her to this day) and were floored with her honesty, advice, excitement, and recommendations that we signed a contract that day. Our wedding and reception were held in Paige Hall in January of 2023 and it was stunning. The staff went above and beyond, and we can honestly say that the entire event went smoothly. The food was amazing and the portions are bigger than we could have expected--not a single guest needed to do a late night Wendy's run as this was not the typical wedding food that we are used to getting at other places. From the event coordinator to the service staff, everyone was incredibly kind and professional. \n\nThe property itself is comfortable, there is plenty to do on-site as well as in the area, and we recommend opting for renting The Cottage for a post wedding hangout--it is a great spot for those that want to continue spending time together after the reception is over. \n\nWe have been back to the Publick House more than a few times since the wedding, as we live close enough to do so. Often we will go for dinner, but the wedding package includes a 1yr Anniversary dinner and they will even make you your wedding cake again--and that dinner was delicious. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. Venue rental includes access to the dressing suite, your choice of ceremony location, our flagstone patio including patio furniture and Adirondack chairs, and the Event Barn to host your reception. In the months leading up to your special day, you'll work with our expert team of coordinators to design your reception floor plan, establish event timeline, discuss wedding decor (our team fully handles the set up and break down of your decor!) and so much more! All bar services are provided by Quonquont Farm at our Silo Bar which features produce grown right here on the farm. Pricing ranges depending on the date and season selected. We're SO glad we decided to get married at The Boylston Rooms! The pictures show for themselves how beautiful the venue (and surrounding areas for photography) are, but the staff are what make this place extra special. From start to finish, everyone we worked with was nothing but professional. They were clear and timely communicators, helped troubleshoot things during the planning process, and came with loads of wedding wisdom that helped set us up for success on the big day. When the big day came, I also appreciated how often their staff checked in - even to make sure I was eating (it's the small things!) - and were ready to jump into support anywhere. A special shout out to Myles, who played a supporting role during our wedding portraits, helping me to keep my very long veil under control! A few other things I'll mention: - Their storage room filled with decor you can borrow is SO helpful. Less that you need to buy (and potentially waste post-wedding) and can even make decision-making easier when there are 1,000 versions of the same item online. - Their wedding suites are great to have available too. Obviously for getting ready, but it's also a nice reprieve if you need a quiet moment during the reception. - The Boylston Rooms only works with one caterer, Myer's Catering. Our guests are STILL raving about the food. (There's more flexibility with other vendors). - The Boylston Rooms also owns/is affiliated with The Wedding Day Trolley, which we used to transport our guests to/from the hotel.
