I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. I was born in Beirut, raised in an Armenian home where Greek disco and Arabic music played nonstop thanks to my mom. That early blend of cultures shaped my love for exploring the world—I’ve traveled to over 20 countries so far, always drawn to new places, people, and perspectives. Photography became my way of connecting. It lets me dive into different cultures, capture honest moments, and hear stories that stay with me. Becoming a photographer helps fulfill that need to explore, to listen, and to create something meaningful. I treat every event like I’m photographing for family—because the connection always matters.

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.
