The Mint Barrel Barn is a stunning, gambrel-style barn that was built in 1910. The barn’s earliest years are a mystery, but in later years it was used as a mint still. Huge quantities of local peppermint crops were distilled into mint oil, stored in large barrels, and sold across the nation to manufacturers of gum, mouthwash, toothpaste, and candy. Companies like Wrigley’s, Crest, Colgate, and LifeSavers paid top dollar for mint oil for their products. Since 2006, the Fulfer family has owned the barn, lovingly maintained it, and opened it up to friends and family as a warm and memorable gathering space for countless events. Owner, Kapri Maupin (Fulfer), wanted more people to be able to experience the history and make memories in the one-of-a-kind barn, so in 2018 she started upgrading and beautifully restoring the property. The barn now retains its historic beauty and is upgraded with all the amenities needed for a 21st century event.

Twenty-six years ago, the Nampa Civic Center was built as a community project. The Civic Center is evolving as a professional house hosting conferences for business and providing a stage for the performing arts with a collaborative collection of talented people from the valley. Honalee Farm is located between Eagle and Star and dates back to 1922 where the Otto Muller Family had a dairy farm. The original dairy barn was built in 1927, was restored and is now used as living quarters. The silo built in 1939 is one of the most prominent landmarks on Moon Valley Road. The rural serenity of this special place and state of the art event center with a large pond and fountain, a flowing stream, spacious lawn, extensive landscaping and abundant parking is the perfect spot for your special event.

Welcome to Sixty Chapel. We are glad you are here. We're glad we're here. While we opened our doors in Spring of 2018, Sixty Chapel has been a project in the making for over a decade. Having worked alongside each other in the Wedding and Events Industry in San Francisco for over 12 years, my husband Willy and I have seen hundreds of events and weddings (not being facetious) and had worked with thousands more (again, no joke). Needless to say, we had seen that with every event we attended the vendors and the guests alike seemed to be going through the motions. When we decided to get married in 2013, we knew we couldn't rationalize spending money, time, or energy on a wedding that didn't speak to us as a couple or as creatives. We ended up getting married at a nontraditional location which enabled us to create our wedding from scratch. With the help of lots of amazing friends and family, we made everything from the benches to the tables, and all of the decor.
