We believe this location would also be an excellent choice for business retreats or leadership development events, with its versatile spaces and overnight accommodations available. Come to find out when we get there that the woman we booked through no longer worked with them and things got mixed up. Not all the food was put out for dinner and instead of the private room we were out in the main room with many other people coming for the evening (not our guests). Food that was put out was really good, but since not all food got set out, the rest got put out towards the end after everyone was done so a lot was wasted. Wish whoever coordinates the private parties would have talked to us before the night so that we knew the changes. I had SO many questions about decor, seating, table/chair/linen rentals, sound equipment rentals, lighting..SO many things and when I started to see prices of renting everything we would need for our big day, ASIDE from cake, flowers, photography, videography, etc…I started feeling extremely stressed and anxious.\n\nThe owners of our venue, Susan & Ron Jacobson QUICKLY relieved that stress. Susan has made herself available for alllll of my questions and even has a handy Pinterest board that had so many incredible ideas.
