The venue was beautiful for the outdoor ceremony even on a slightly cool November day and the reception space turned out beautiful as well. The elegant décor and gilded accents certainly evoke the ambience of the ballroom scene from the film without coming across as overdone. One of our favorite features of this venue is the conservatory, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the grounds; the view is made even more magical during an autumnal sunset when the golds and oranges of the changing leaves really pop. In addition to the beauty of the venue, I must highlight the wonderful staff at Cherry Creek. Our guests had numerous compliments for the staff on the day of our wedding, and my husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cherry Creek's staff and all of the hard work they put in behind the scenes to ensure our day was special. In particular, we want to give a shoutout to Shadia and Stefani, Cherry Creek's catering sales manager and event specialist (and our day-of coordinator), respectively. Both Shadia and Stefani are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate--they were excellent communicators throughout the entire wedding planning process and they made sure that we reviewed every detail before the big day. Stefani even came to the rescue on our wedding day when some wardrobe malfunctions occurred right before the ceremony! I could go on and on about how wonderful these two women are, but for the sake of brevity I will simply say that if you are considering Cherry Creek as your wedding venue and you have the opportunity to work with Shadia and Stefani, take that opportunity! They are wonderful and will ensure your wedding day is everything you hoped for and more. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention how fabulous the food is at Cherry Creek. My husband and I received rave reviews from numerous guests about the hors d'oeuvres, dinner service, dessert bar, and cocktails from our wedding, and we wholeheartedly agree with those reviews (the beef tenderloin cut like butter and the Boursin whipped potatoes were the best we've ever had). We especially loved that we had the ability to tailor our signature cocktails to fit the wedding theme. We also received many compliments about the ice cream sandwich bar (unfortunately, we were too stuffed to enjoy the ice cream ourselves!). The 2 hours before the ceremony were chaotic since rain was on and off and we were unsure if an outdoor ceremony would happen or not. 10 minutes before the ceremony started staff ran out wiped all the chairs, and were able to make it happen! Received tons of compliments on the beauty of the venue, and how delicious the food was. 4/5 stars just because at the end of the night we were pushed out faster than our allowed 30minutes, the manager was literally locking doors as people were walking out of them, and we got a couple complaints about the bar staff. To start, the venue is stunning, it made planning so easy for a bride like me who had no idea where to start for decor. The thing that you can’t see in pictures is how incredible the staff is. They were super communicative throughout the entire process. Any questions I had, they would answer within a day or two of me reaching out. They were proactive when a deadline came up, sending a heads up message a few weeks before so even if I had forgotten, I had time to get everything together. Finally, I did not expect their attentiveness on the actual day of our wedding but Hayley and Josh helped make us feel so special the whole day. The discord on wedding Facebook and TikTok is that the venue coordinator is there for the venue and to not expect them to help out day of except for anything venue related. That was not my experience at all, for example, I got sucked into talking to guests while dinner was being served and yet almost an hour after everyone ate, Josh arranged my husbands and my dinner in the private room, and it was freshly cooked and still hot.
