This beautiful, crescent-shaped flagstone space wraps around one entire side of the building and features a Zen-like border of Japanese maples, native plants and graceful oaks. Handcrafted ceramic urns are integrated throughout and serve as artful and calming water features. You can opt to exchange vows in front of those wooden entry doors, or take full advantage of the patio’s pièce de résistance and say “I do” beneath an asymmetrical canvas canopy. There’s ample room for al fresco cocktails on the patio before everyone moves into the Sequoia Room for dinner. OVY Camp and Event Center is a 501c3 non-profit. Each year, we open most weekends between January-May & August-December for events like weddings. Unfortunately, we do not host any weddings June - mid-August since we host our non-profit summer camp programs during that time. All rental fees help fund our OVY Camp scholarship program to bring youth to summer camp that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity!

The Clubhouse is ideal for gatherings of up to 100 people. The building, designed by Charles E. Hodges was constructed in 1916. The Clubhouse is a lovely venue for private parties, weddings, recitals and off-site meetings. Guests enter through a charming portico on Homer Avenue into a spacious foyer. The main room is a simply designed space with grand proportions. On two sides, tall windows flood the room with light, which reflects off polished maple floors. Eight brass-and-glass fixtures are suspended from the high ceiling, and dark wood wainscoting and trim throughout add period character. This room includes a stage, framed by a red velvet curtain and illuminated by footlights. There is a grand piano available for musical accompaniment. Buffets are usually set up in the adjacent Fireside Room which is joined to the main room by folding French doors.

A brick pathway leads from the house to the lawn. There, you’ll find a ceremony area on one side and on the other, space large enough for guests to dine and play yard games. The lawn is surrounded by trees and hedges, creating intimacy for your upscale backyard party. Tables and chairs are provided. The rest - from décor to caterers - is up to you, which makes the Highlands House an extraordinarily customizable venue. The Highlands House can host up to 200 people in the peak season (April – October) and 100 during the winter season (November – March). This includes your guests, vendors, and anyone else helping you on your big day.
