I began this passion of mine about 14 years ago when I dove headfirst in to the world of flowers. My background in music education instilled a love of teaching and desire for best practices in the design world. I have had the privilege to study under some of the best designers in the world including Holly Chapple, Susan McCleary, Ariella DeChezar, Naomi DaManana and Joseph Massey.

At French Market Flowers, we promote a fluid, organic style in our wedding arrangements and bouquets. Because we grow many of our flowers, we are able to offer quality, freshness, and originality. Peonies and poppies are beautiful together, but poppies don't ship well, so most suppliers can't provide them to florists. We also grow tweedia, the most adorable little blue flower. There are many more specialty flowers, like sweet peas, scented geranium, and viburnum berries that dress our unique bouquets. And don't forget your flower crowns!

Our sustainable/foam-free aesthetic design mimics nature almost as if the flowers were handpicked from the gardens and loosely gathered together. We work with lush high quality specialty blooms, vines and colorful foliage to create an ever-changing, yet classic and timeless floral design. From romantic sweet peas to heirloom peonies, our blooms are carefully selected to highlight the design of your choosing. Our bloom varieties are seasonally appropriate and are directly sourced by U.S. flower farms. We are a small shop and do only 1 wedding a day to give clients 150%. I believe I have a God given gift of creating pretty things as inspiration for my shop came just when diagnosed with cancer. When not in the studio, I enjoy growing wildflower gardens, climbing roses and drying flowers. An avid animal lover with 3 kitties (Delilah, Ebony, Fozzie Bear), I am Mom to a very spoiled German Shepherd named Stella. Now cancer free, I work 7 days a week doing what I love most!
