The manager Fahad was extremely professional and helpful! The service was great, the setup was amazing and top tier! The Venue is spacious and beautiful! Banquet has a separate entrance from the hotel as well! I was very satisfied with the service, setup, decor and food. Relatively affordable for the top tier service they provide. The manager makes sure everything is exactly the way you've planned it! Pretty happy and Satisfied! A good bang for your buck!

A huge shout-out goes to **Lucy** and **Victor**, who played pivotal roles in making our wedding day flawless. Lucy, our event coordinator, was a dream to work with from the very beginning. She was organized, attentive, and always available to answer our questions. Her attention to detail was exceptional, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we envisioned. Whether it was helping us with the timeline, liaising with vendors, or offering her expert advice, Lucy’s calm and reassuring presence made us feel completely at ease. She truly made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. Victor, the venue manager, was also fantastic. On the day of the wedding, he and his team ensured everything ran smoothly. His professionalism and warmth were so appreciated—he made sure we were all taken care of. We never had to worry about a thing because Victor was always one step ahead, making sure that everything flowed perfectly. As for the venue itself, Victoria in the Park is an absolute gem. The venue is spacious, private and charming which made it a beautiful backdrop for our reception. The elegant reception hall, makes it clear that this place has been designed with love and attention to detail. Overall, our wedding at Victoria in the Park was a dream come true, and much of that was thanks to Lucy and Victor. I absolutely loved my wedding at Elmcrest Banquets. Their team and staff were so lovely to work with. They had so many options for me to customize the dream wedding I was envisioning. Intimacy is hard to achieve in a venue and nowadays with the crushing oppression of minimalism, even more difficult to find. What I love about Lou Lou is that it has all of the necessary staples of a well run restaurant but none of the chaos. The decor is warm and welcoming, the tables are a pleasant lighter wood that invokes a bright memory of sitting in the kitchen of the cool aunt. Textured pieces of art and pottery grace the walls and delicate white curtains frame the front windows to give the diners privacy. I love that I can see the chefs working diligently behind the counter and that the flow of the space draws your eye down the line and to the cute little stage in the back. This could be used for a jazz trio, a sweetheart table or an emotional speech at a rehearsal dinner. Regardless, the space is unique and I am certain, will become as precious to the community as it is to me and my family.

Royal Palms has always held a special place in our hearts. At the beginning of our relationship, I joined a league with my now-husband’s best friends. Shuffleboard (and Shuffleboard Bobs) brought us together, and they welcomed me into the group. We were league regulars and made some great memories, even though we rarely won a game. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted an untraditional wedding experience and were so excited that Royal Palms was willing to host us - their first wedding! Their events coordinator, Taylor, was just as enthusiastic and worked closely with us to plan an incredible event. We walked down a shuffleboard aisle on the roof while the Blue Line passed behind us, making for some incredible photos. Captain Scott gave our guests tutorials while they ate Big Star tacos from a truck and drank amazing cocktails. The energy was incredible, and it meant the world to us to see our families and friends connecting over rounds of shuffleboard. Hosting was easy - the space is already so beautiful that we did not bring in any decorations! No flowers or linens needed. Catering from a food truck was fun and unique. The photo station was fully stocked with props. The AV equipment was ready for a DJ and we kept our custom playlist bumping all night. The bartenders kept energy high and drinks flowing all night (truly the best bar in the city, in my opinion!). We danced and ate and played for hours. Our guests still talk about this night to this day. It was a party to remember, which is exactly what we wanted. Even better than the wonderful memories, pictures, and stories is the fact that we can go back whenever we want to relive the night. Even after two kids, we still make a point of playing a round of shuffleboard every year on our anniversary - it will be 6 years this fall! We cannot thank the Royal Palms staff enough for working with us. They are high-energy and fun, and they are also professional and take their clients’ experience very seriously. You would never know ours was their first wedding - they had every single detail covered, resulting in a seamless night. I look back on that night with nothing but happy memories. I wouldn’t change a single thing!

100% would recommend Walden for a stress-free wedding experience!!! We knew Walden was our venue when we read about their full-service wedding packages including planners, kitchen/bar all under one roof. After we toured the venue, we could not wait to have our wedding here. Our main planners were Hannah and Briscel, and we had the pleasure of a 3rd planner, Ally with a last-minute day-of staffing change. Hannah and Briscel took the stress out of wedding planning, keeping us on track with every detail and vendor. Ally made sure the wedding day ran seamlessly. One of the best things we loved about working with the planners was their recommendations for local vendors (floral, DJ, photography etc.). Their assistance contacting and coordinating calls/quotes from vendors was also a huge help. Every possible detail regarding the wedding was accounted for, so we were certain nothing would be missed along the way. Now for the fun part, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and better than we ever dreamt. The coordinators kept us on schedule and sent an itinerary in advance, so everyone knew where to be and what was coming up next. They handled all of the communication with vendors and all the little details, so we could fully be present on our wedding day. We did not have any moments of stress, or panic, and was rarely asked any questions or to do any tasks. The Walden team set everything up for us from the welcome sign to the memorial table and of course the gorgeous reception room. It’s like suddenly we got teleported into our Pinterest vision board! A big shout out to Nick and Matt, the kitchen and bar staff. They were absolutely amazing! The drinks were awesome, the bartenders could make any drink guests wanted including mocktails. The food was incredible, so many guests complimented on how delicious their meals were. We also really appreciated their accommodations for various food restrictions and preferences. Overall, the Walden staff has truly thought of everything. They made the very daunting task of planning a wedding much more manageable, and made the whole day that much more special. Could not think of a better venue in the area for folks planning a wedding!

The Grand Oaks Pavillion was one of the most beautiful reception spaces I have seen. The staff’s attention and care from the first consult to the final day was exceptional. Jason made sure everything was on time and perfect. The food was fantastic. Everyone had a great time. I am incredibly grateful to Jason, Tiana, Herminio, and the rest of the staff (front desk, servers, valet) for making my daughter’s special day so memorable.

This review is long overdue! If you are looking for amazing food and service for your wedding, cocktail party, corporate event, or honestly, ANY event catering and service you need, you can’t go wrong with Lisa and her team at Kuma’s. One of the top three important items we wanted to concentrate on for our wedding was the catering (food and service). We have been big fans of Kuma’s for a long time which led me to look at them for our catering needs. We looked at a few places which we thought would work for our vibe, but after meeting with Lisa, we knew we had to have Kuma’s catering. Starting with the tasting, refining the menu before the day, as well as the actual day, Lisa was extremely responsive and communicative and really worked with us and our budget to make sure our day was memorable and special. Their sliders are exceptionally delicious (make sure to get the chicken Iron Maiden), and despite them being known for their burgers, Kuma’s has the capability to accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions including vegans, vegetarians, those with gluten free and dairy allergies, and even the pickiest of kids! We had nine kids attending our wedding and I was concerned they would not enjoy the sliders as much as the adults. Lisa offered to provide a tray of chicken tenders with sauces for the kiddos to accommodate them to go along with the mac and cheese we had put on the menu. Moreover, everything is prepared fresh and never frozen, which is remarkable in today’s market. The basil vinaigrette used for the house salad was made fresh the day of and if I could, I’d buy a bottle every week. Furthermore, there are special items you can only get with catering, and we highly suggest ordering the buffalo chicken bites, jalapeno popper bites, and especially the artichoke dip. They were out of this world amazing. Everyone left extremely satisfied and we still get compliments on how amazingly delicious the food was, not to mention the exceptional level of service. Lisa was extremely attentive and beyond helpful with set up and clearing and made sure we didn’t have anything to worry about at the end of the night. Nick, our bartender, was super helpful with last-minute tasks before guests arrived, and made sure everyone had a drink and were taken well care of. As I said before, we were big fans of Kuma’s prior to our wedding and this experience just cemented our love for them even more. We will definitely use them for our catering needs in the future. If you are looking for something unique and special that will have everyone remembering your event in the best possible way, we highly recommend you book Kuma’s!

When planning a wedding all you want is for your vision to come true and for the guests to have a phenomenal time celebrating with a great vibe and Amazing food!! The fountain blue staff, especially Georgia and Connie made our vision come true. They were there with us every step of the way, answering all questions and easing our worries and mind as the day approached!They consistently checked in and asked if we needed any changes, or had any specific needs that needed to be met as the day was nearing. Whenever we had questions they were able to answer them and guide us to ensure our question was answered fully. Last Saturday we had our MOST special day and it was everything we wanted and more! The meals were delicious, and still being talked about by our guests. The ambience and the wait staff made our guests feel welcomed and cared for! We know that we will continue to talk about our venue and wedding for years to come! we can’t thank the fountain blue enough for making our wedding reception PERFECT!

I used AVEC for my daughter pre-wedding event for the family and close friends of the bride and husband. The staff at AVEC really made it a life time memorable experience to last for everyone. As for the reception, the appetizers/ hors-d’oeuvre was excellent. The open bar and the wine selection made a difference for those who attended. For the friends of my daughters, AVEC was one of the restaurant that they envied to dine at and the second floor atmosphere made it a unique experience. As for the sit down dinner for the family, it become a highlight for both family history. The wine selection for dinner was memorable and was an experience which cannot be replicated. The food was excellent and the how the family style serving provided an atmosphere for everyone closer and to become “one family”. In my mind , this was one of the top experience I have had including my time as working and living as a top executive in the Chicago area in the past 20 years. I have organized and attended dinner events for business but this experience at AVEC was the one I enjoyed the most and is ranked as my number one. I have to say that all dining experience, the staff at AVEC served us and others with a kind, friendly, and proactive way which led making the whole dining experience one that can not match by other restaurants in Chicago or anywhere around the world. As a Japanese we are used to high quality personalized services but AVEC in the West Loop is in our mind belongs in the top league worldwide. I recommend AVEC with the highest level and without any hesitation if you are seeking a life time experience to be remembered for generations.

Canal Street Eatery is such a cool space. It’s beautiful, the food and drinks are amazing, and it was the perfect spot for our small wedding. Elise and Thaina were so incredible to work with. They were responsive, helpful, and found solutions to small issues that came up. We got so many compliments on the food and drinks at the wedding. Orso's Italian was the perfect venue for my son and daughter-in-law's baby shower. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Bobby and all the staff there. It was a phenomenal night! The food and service was amazing, we had a cocktail area near the bar plus the private dining room, which was perfect. The guests were so engaged, and there were so many compliments about the food and the service. There were a few dietary restrictions and guests were able to be accommodated so easily! It was an incredible experience, and I cannot recommend them enough for food and for private events!!!

From the moment our tour ended, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to get married. Abby at the Ivy Room was SO helpful in literally ever step of this process. The courtyard is deceptively spacious and felt like we were tucked away in a serene garden while also thriving off the energy of the surrounding city.
