If we had to get married again, we would choose this venue without any hesitation. My husband is an avid golfer and I love the water, and this met both of our wants. The lake in the background of the ceremony is so pretty, and this lake can also be seen in the reception space. And it's a golf course so my husband was happy about that. Ha! When we were initially looking for a venue, we reached out to a few other local golf courses, but Amy was prompt in her response and I could tell from our first few initial emails that Bucks Run was going to be the place for us. The food is AMAZING (I only wish we could take leftovers). The staff was AMAZING and super kind to all of our guests. And Amy was AMAZING. She was always quick to respond, even when I wasn't expecting a quick reply. Her answers were always clear, and she made sure that we had everything we wanted for our big day. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Everything turned out great. The owners are very personable and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They have connections with the local vendors. That put our mind at ease knowing that they’ve worked together before and everything would run smoothly. The carriage house, on site, made it convenient and easy for me and my girls to get ready in before the ceremony. The property is beautiful. I had about 80 guests and it felt like any more than that would have been too crowded. So many different spots on the property to get married on, all beautiful. Different locations cost different price. Overall, relatively cheap compared to other venues. When talking to them, I first started with one wedding coordinator. She left and was informed about the new coordinator. She introduced herself and thought she was awesome. She was very tentative to all the details and was very helpful. I wasn’t informed that she had left and a new coordinator had taken her spot. I didn’t know there was a new coordinator until the day before the wedding. She didn’t take charge of anything. She took a back seat to everything. Told her I had a specific song I wanted to play for walking down the aisle. There wasn’t any sort practice with the song at the rehearsal. She couldn’t figure out how to connect my phone to the sound system. They took care of everything from our hotel block to the ceremony and reception, and John and Chae made the entire process so easy that I had nothing to stress about on the day of the wedding.
