We include coordination, and no 'must use' vendors list so you can make your wedding personal and relaxing. We only offer totally private rentals, so you can feel like your guests are visiting you in your own home. Our pet-friendly property even lets you bring your pups. Rixey offers the most spectacular views... from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains on one side, to the bottom of Rixey Lake on the other. Our rooftop and patio spaces make for a magical setting both at sunset and at night, and the Ballroom, complete with climate control and ADA-accessible bathrooms, means that inclement weather won't have a negative effect on your special day. The history of the house lends an air of vintage elegance, but what most of our couples love is the comfy atmosphere provided by big sofas, real fires, and the ability to curl up at the end of the night in the library with your favorite people.

Old Trade is a family-owned, family-friendly and pet-friendly rural operation located in historic Brandy Station, VA (Culpeper County). The Mulberry at Old Trade is operated in conjunction with Old Trade Brewery & Cidery. If you want the convenience of having your ceremony within feet of your reception, or if your guest list is much bigger than estimated our pond side pavilion has small covered area and enough space for up to three 50'x90' tents!
