“I truly cannot recommend them enough. I can confidently brag that we had the best wedding band I’ve ever heard. We saw them perform at another wedding and booked them in between sets they were so good. For ours, we had a 7 piece band perform for the reception and it was so incredible (Motown, funk, oldies, and pop). They brought great energy and the music was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests. They also did the audio for the ceremony and cocktail hour (just recorded songs, not live) and MC’ed the whole event. It went so smoothly. We filled out an extensive form they have and then met to review the plan for the day. It went off perfectly and flowed so well. Definitely worth asking for Kelley the pianist because he’s also a great singer. My one note is we got a wireless mic for the ceremony and there was a little delay in the audio so it was a little disorienting to speak like there was an echo. It making reading vows a little hard. So I’d recommend either talking to them about that or going with a wired mic, maybe.”

“We were super excited to work with a veteran-owned business for our wedding music. However, the experience was not what we had hoped for. William's communication style was fast and accommodating, but he had a hard time matching the style of music we provided for our playlist (we provided around 40 songs for him and he added the rest to get the time coverage, but we didn't like 60% of his choices so we changed them 2 days before, which he fixed with no complaints!). During the ceremony, the music was skipping (outdoor and separate from reception area) and he ended up playing more guest requests than the songs we had specifically chosen as the couple. One big positive was he had a good balance of talking/directing and just playing music which I really appreciated. Overall, we had mixed feelings but all the issues we had could have been corrected with an equipment check (not sure if this was a venue issue or DJ issue) and preference of our music over the guests. I really liked working with William as a person and he handled changes really well, but I was disappointed to not hear more of my song choices.”

“There are not words to describe how much we loved having DJ Krystyle perform at our Aug 2024 wedding. She was very responsive, communicative, and has a super easy online portal that helps capture every detail you could think of for the event music. She’s also a lovely human in general to work with. We went with the approach of choosing the major songs and providing general recommendations around genres and let the expert handle the rest. We had multiple guests tell us they could not stop dancing or singing along the entire night. We had every age group on the dance floor. If it’s any indication - my photographer had to remind me a few times to stop bouncing around so she could get some good still shots. In our opinion, it doesn’t get any better than DJ Krystyle.”

I have had the opportunity to DJ all types of events. I got my start while I was working for Pearson Music Company. While there I was learning about live sound setups and DJ setups. I made friends with many of the local DJ’s in the area. They told me I should put my love of music together with my knowledge of sound equipment and bring music to the masses.

“Joseph introduced himself to us BEFORE asking for any deposits or contract signatures. He listened to what we were looking for and worked with us to get the best playlist for the age range of our guests. One 19 year old, several in their 50's and the rest in their early 70's. More slow dances than fast. He also helped out the caterer and served iced tea when he saw the pitchers were empty! He even stayed after the reception had ended and helped clear tables. Joseph was fun and on top of everything. He even helped our photographer get some amazing shots (ours was her first wedding).”
