I'm Alexa & that's my husband Evan, a biologist by day and the best second shooter in the world by night. We're a wife-and-husband duo who love people, dogs, bad dancing, new friendships, hiking, libraries, Sour Patch Kids, and genuine love in all its many forms. I started photographing weddings after working for a few years in the music industry. I loved the rush of a live performance - from the completely unpredictable nature of each show to the joy on the faces of every audience member, I adored everything about those performances. And then I realized there was a connection here - weddings aren't all that different.

I've been around weddings my entire life. I come from a huge Italian family and someone was ALWAYS getting married. So cliche to say but I love love. Every wedding is so unique and should tell the story of who you are as a couple. My favorite part of my job is getting to know every couple and tell THEIR love story. Believe me your wedding, and your photos do not have to be boring! I love incorporating fun flash photos and photographing quirky moments that make you, you!

Immediately, this hobby turned into a passion. Friends, family, city, country, events, food, plants…you name it, I took a picture of it. I came to learn that I was most fulfilled by the things I found in front of my camera’s lens, not the camera itself. I then became enamored with developing my ability to snap a picture at the exact second a genuine smile fills my focal point, or the moment when couples get lost in each other and completely forget that I’m there. My camera became an extension of me and how I see the world. Through photography, I get to capture people’s happiest moments, and there’s no better subject to frame than our own joy.
