When we were initially looking for photographers we were looking for ones with an artsy flare that could handle difficult light scenarios as we were getting married at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. They were just as stoked as we were and were excited for the challenge of reflective glass and constantly shifting lighting as well as low lighting areas. They have an easy day of planner form that you fill out closer to the day and they also go over the day of schedule with you prior to make sure that everything goes well, which as a schedule-minded girl, I loved. In 2003 I began my career in photography with the Maryland Film Office in Baltimore and photographed my first wedding in 2004 with my sister-in-law. I was in love! In 2007 I decided to go full time with wedding photography. I moved out west to apprentice with veteran wedding photographers in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to master studio lighting and posing techniques. I began working full time as a wedding photographer in Annapolis under my own company in 2009. Since then, I have met hundreds of amazing couples. When I'm not photographing a wedding, you can most likely find me on a mountain or the Chesapeake Bay with my family...camera in hand.
