We had our wedding at Groveland Fairways by Wedgewood Weddings on 4/26/25! We initially got in contact with Groveland Fairways in the very early part of 2024, and it didn’t take long for us to decide that this was the venue for us! Since booking, the venue changed ownership and became a part of Wedgewood Weddings & Events. WW honored our pre-existing contract we had with Groveland Fairways and the transition was seamless! From the get-go, the WW team set up our planning meeting, details call, final meeting, and rehearsal. We had A LOT of TBDs after our first planning meeting, so thank you to the WW team for your patience! We primarily worked with Nicole, but the whole team was VERY involved. Everyone at Groveland Fairways was professional, organized, accommodating, available, and helpful. I’m originally from CT, so on more than one occasion I’d let the WW team know (with only a few days notice) that my mom was coming up and wanted to stop by the venue to plan things out and visualize the day. We never felt like an inconvenience and the WW team was there for us if we had questions but also let us walk around and do our thing. We planned to get married outside by the arbor (Terrace Garden), but the old saying “April showers bring May flowers” stayed true to its word and we had rain. Fortunately, Groveland Fairways has a beautiful indoors option (Fireside Room) and it worked out perfectly for us. It was a more intimate setting for us and all of our favorite people. WW offers multiple enhancements if you want to elevate your special day or make it more custom to you and your style, but we felt that the venue was simple and beautiful on its own! It fit our 135 guests very comfortably. There are multiple spots around the venue to take pictures - whether it be on the front porch, under the porte cochere, up in the new bridal suite, outside on the putting green, or around the grounds with the arborvitaes and white trellis in the background. We don't have enough good things to say about Groveland Fairways, it's charm, and incredibly thoughtful team! Thank you to everyone at Groveland Fairways, who made this experience SO EASY and our day so special!

The hotel’s vintage charm was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding weekend, and it provided the perfect setting for all of our events. The food was a highlight of our weekend. At the rehearsal dinner, we had the Chicken Milanese entrée, which was a huge hit with our guests. So many people mentioned how much they loved it, and the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The service throughout all of our events was impeccable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. One of the things we loved most about the Hawthorne Hotel was how perfectly it fit our aesthetic for the wedding weekend. The vintage character of the hotel gave everything a timeless, elegant feel, and it was the ideal backdrop for our celebrations, even though our wedding and reception were off-site. We absolutely adored the hotel’s library space, which hosted our farewell brunch. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and meaningful gathering with our closest family and friends. The space was beautifully decorated, and it truly set the tone for a lovely, laid-back morning after the big day. Our hotel suite was equally impressive. It was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind after a busy weekend. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both enjoyed a restful night’s sleep. It was a great retreat for us during such a busy time and offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A huge thank you to our amazing events coordinator, Beth Pasquarello. Beth was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, honest, and caring. We never felt out of the loop, and she was always there to offer advice and solutions. One great example of her attention to detail was when she helped us secure a microphone for the rehearsal dinner, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and personal touch made the entire experience so much easier and stress-free. You can't go wrong with Steeple Hall. Nik and His team did an excellent job of making sure our day was special! Nik is a detail-oriented and works in a way that there is as little stress or burden on you in the lead up, and on the big day! It is really nice having a team not only execute an perfect reception, but that are also focused on making sure the couple has a special day for themselves! That can't be understated; it made the day exponentially more special for us. The food is great, the service is great, and the planning process is very easy yet comprehensive. Seriously, you can't go wrong with Steeple Hall.

This historical site was first designed in 1927 for former governor of Massachusetts, Alvan Fuller. We are one of the last working formal estate gardens of the early 20th century. The meticulously maintained rose gardens, with over one hundred varieties, begin their season long bloom cycle in late June and continue through October. There is a Japanese garden, complete with a small bridge and Koi pond, which blooms in early May. The English perennial plantings provide a continuous array of color and interest from spring until fall. I had my eye on The Grove at Briar Barn Inn since it was simply a blueprint on an Instagram post. From the start, I knew it was going to be where I would get married someday. There is just something so quintessentially charming about the post and beam restaurant and the quaint New England Inn. The entire experience working with The Grove was great. We picked December 8th for not only the idea of a winter wedding but also for the holiday decor and availability for our preferred vendors. They were flexible in putting together the details and stuck to all the outlined dates and deadlines. We were assigned our wedding coordinator, Jeannine, about six weeks out as they said, and we were able to have our wedding details meeting soon after. The payment portal was easy to use, and the planning pod was intuitive and a great spot to keep important details in order. Jeannine answered all my questions promptly, and in the week leading up to the wedding, she was available for us to drop off all the decor ahead of time and spent time reviewing our vision one last time. On the day of, she was present, available, and helpful. She was detailed and organized and never pushy. She let us have our day and was there to help transition to the different elements seamlessly, paying attention to all the details so we wouldn't have to. Our guests have had only positive things to say about the entire day from the incredible food and the overall atmosphere. The only critique I have of the entire experience is the check-in process at the Inn. We had a 20 room block and ended up with 29 of the 30 rooms booked by our guests. The Inn has a very strict 2pm early check-in for 50 fee or 3pm otherwise check-in. We had a Sunday wedding in December where we had a first look and formal portraits at 2pm before a 4:00 ceremony because of the early sunset. We weren't able to stay Saturday night due to another wedding buy-out. The Grove accommodated me by making the hospitality suite available for us to get ready in; however, the Inn did not accommodate the groom getting ready. We rented out the Silo/Library for 250 to try to have a space for the men to get ready, but they didn't set up the privacy screen and there were too many people milling around for him to get changed in the non-private space. After a lot of inquiry from our wedding coordinator, our officiant, and our makeup artist, they finally let him into the room at 1:45 for the additional 50, but at that point it was only enough time for him to drop his phone and wallet. He ended up changing in the single stall bathroom in the basement of the Inn, which is a nice bathroom of course, but we would have liked a little more flexibility for us to have 1 room with early check-in to give him a bit more privacy. Flipping one room early for the bride and groom doesn't seem like a lot to ask in the grand scheme of the day or even offering some alternatives - we likely would have paid for a full extra night even if we couldn't get into the room the night before just to have the spot, but they didn't give us any options to work with until 1:45 p.m. ahead of 2pm call time. My recommendation for future couples is to negotiate into the wedding contract for something ahead of time if you could potentially run into the same issue, especially if you're out of towners who don't have other options nearby.

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Sophie and Kyle are down to earth, caring, and a joy to work with. We planned a wedding for June of 2020 and had to postpone the reception by a year, which was no problem at all. The farm is a truly idyllic setting, and the 5-story newly renovated barn is astoundingly beautiful and fully equipped for multimedia experiences. Donna and the team were so supportive and caring throughout the entire planning process, making sure we felt a true connection with them. The quality of their work and value was fantastic - the views were absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and it was all incredibly reasonably priced. They were so flexible, even allowing us to include my dog Swish in the ceremony, which was so important to me. Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

Our wedding here was INCREDIBLE and I couldn't recommend it enough. Every single person we worked with was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful and made this process so easy for us. Every single detail was executed perfectly. Every interaction was professional, timely, and warm. For the whole year leading up to our wedding, we felt incredibly supported and cared for. I had so many questions, and the Willowdale team was so prompt, helpful, and kind in their responses. As for the actual wedding, it was a total dream. The food is actually the best food ever... wedding food or not. It's been two months and everyone is still talking about it. The space is GORGEOUS and feels intimate and special while still accommodating larger weddings. Our coordinator, Julia, and the team worked with the florist and all the decor we dropped off ahead of time to execute the design and vision better than I could ever dream up. I was truly shocked when seeing the space - the attention and care to detail was unparallel and so gorgeous. And the BEST PART... On the day of the wedding, there was absolutely nothing to think about or stress about because Julia had it all under control. She communicated throughout the evening and made everything flowed seamlessly. As a result, we really got to just enjoy every single moment of the best day of our lives. We had our wedding here in July 2025, and it worked out wonderfully. Everyone loved the oceanside views, and our guests loved wandering inside the aquarium, as well as around the grounds. Kids and adults alike loved seeing the exhibits. There was beautiful sunset lighting as the evening went on, so our pics are great. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. We liked having our ceremony right by the water, and it was easy to move over to the reception at the tent nearby. We highly recommend the Seacoast Science Center!

We had our dream wedding at Grill 28 in September, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive, making the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. One of the best things about this venue is that it provides all the necessities, including tables and chairs. We brought in some of our own chairs for the reception while using theirs for the ceremony. They also offer a wide selection of linens and even the option to add an extra tent to accommodate more guests. What makes this venue truly special is the flexibility to curate your wedding exactly as you envision it. Nestled on the beautiful Pease Golf Course, it’s a hidden gem—a true diamond in the rough! Unlike many wedding venues, we never felt like there was any price gouging. Everything was very reasonable and transparent. The accessibility of this venue is also a huge plus. It’s wheelchair-friendly, and the main tent is set on a concrete pad, so you don’t have to worry about wet or muddy grass—a huge relief if the weather is unpredictable! We had designated rooms to get ready in, and the food was absolutely out of this world! There are multiple spaces to utilize, including the garden patio—perfect for our cocktail hour—and the main tent for our reception. Another bonus is that the venue is owned by the same company as Popovers, so we were able to order our cake directly and even do a tasting! The menus are fully customizable, which made everything feel even more personal. Another big plus is the ample parking, making it easy for all of our guests. We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Grill 28. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers both beauty and exceptional service, this is the place!

Getting married at the Granite Rose was the best decision we made. The planning team there is absolutely amazing - Anna helped us through most planning sessions, and Jill was our day of coordinator - both amazing at their jobs. Between the Granite Rose staff, and the partnerships with many of our vendors, our wedding went off without a hitch, and we were actually able to enjoy the process. We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and it was absolutley due to this venue and their staff. I do not think we would have enjoyed our day this much if it had been at a different venue. From the decor, to the food, to the bar, to the dancefloor, everything was amazing. Could not have asked for a better crew - Our banquet coordinator, Joshua, had the most amazing energy, and made sure that my husband and I always had what we needed and that any concerns were addressed immediately. Our bartender, Mariah, was great at her job, and remembered everyone's drink order the entire night. The food was phenomenal - so delicious and our Chefs Jim and Joe were able to accomodate every allergy/request with no fuss. Our entire crew was so professional and we are so impressed by the service they provided (shout out Tirk, Kiara, Jen, and Hunter). We would highly recommend using Wedgewood Weddings for your wedding/event, and in particular looking into the Granite Rose, and their awesome team! We loved it!

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Wentworth by the Sea and could not recommend this venue to other couples enough. Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations. The biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit, and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom. We also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. From flowers to rentals and a band that kept everyone on their feet, we felt that we had the best team to support us and make our day look and feel exactly how we imagined. We could not have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our love, and the staff at Wentworth by the Sea made us feel like one-in-a-million!

The Stevens Estate at Osgood Hill was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we started working with them, Amy was so helpful, asking questions we would have never thought of to ensure we were happy all day and everything went smoothly, even down to what drink we wanted after finishing the ceremony. The space is gorgeous - the tent and mansion are amazingly beautiful, though it can get a bit hot in the suites in the summer with a lot of people for getting ready photos. We ended up bringing mini electric hand fans and they were a lifesaver. They had an attendant assigned to us throughout the night to make sure we were fed and hydrated, and it just made everything run so smoothly. The food (especially the appetizers) was so good!
