The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. Daniel's Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding day! Their communication throughout the planning process was absolutely amazing - Amanda and Todd were so responsive and eager to fulfill our vision. The venue itself is 100% handicap accessible and felt like perfection for our special event. I didn't have a care in the world on my wedding day since there was always an attentive staff member ready to help out with anything we needed. My husband and I felt completely taken care of thanks to Amanda, Todd, and the entire Daniel's Ridge team. From the beautiful ceremony site to the elegant ballroom reception, every detail at Daniel's Ridge was flawless. We're so grateful we chose this venue to host the most important day of our lives. Daniel's Ridge offers a simple yet high-quality backdrop that allows your love and joy to shine through brightly. We highly recommend them for any couple searching for the perfect wedding venue!

Sugarneck

5.0

Sanford, NC
  • Up to 125 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $7,200

Sugarneck is rumored to have gotten its name by the bootleggers traveling along the Cape Fear River as a code word for the place where they would pick up their moonshine. Sugarneck reaches back long before smartphones and social media, back to a time when the only way to send a message was by writing a letter and sending it in the mail. One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. The vast scenic views of the North Carolina countryside along with the grandness of our 150 year old Oak trees do not go unnoticed, and at night, the stars light up the sky. Today, there is an unexpected immersive experience that brings history, nature and modern elegance together in total privacy.

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Bridal suite on site
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • On-site parking not available
We had our wedding at Sugarneck in May. The venue alone is stunning, incredibly well taken care of and immaculately clean. Add to that the dedication of Alicia and her team to plan and execute the most magical, flawless day - I wish I could give 10 stars! We chose Sugarneck because of its location and extremely reasonably priced packages. It truly took the stress out of the day as Alicia was always on top of any questions/concerns I had and brought my ideas to life in all areas. Despite a downpour after the ceremony, the day was flawless and the team worked so hard, always while providing top notch service to all our guests. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time was the difficultly in guests getting Ubers after the event, while there was a shuttle bus that showed up that transported people, had I known, I would have either paid for it or given people a heads up as it was a little pricey. We spent the whole weekend there including hosting the rehearsal dinner which in itself was a fabulous time. We really felt like part of the family there and not just ‘renting the property’. We would not have asked for a more perfect venue and team to help us with our special day.
