The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.

The CSULB Japanese Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the staff was quick, insightful, and provided detailed responses to our questions. The venue itself has a quiet, chic, and calming atmosphere, allowing the natural beauty of the gardens to shine. They were extremely accommodating, helping my children take advantage of all the activities available. Under the new management, they were able to work with me much closer than any other venue I had considered. Omar in particular was a pleasure to work with, and their pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend the CSULB Japanese Garden to any couple looking for a serene, nature-inspired setting for their special day.

I had the pleasure of filming a wedding and reception on location at Red Horse Barn this past year and what an amazing place! The in-house event company are great to work with. They not only make sure that the wedding couple has a fantastic experience, but they make sure to work as a team with the other vendors to ensure that the whole day comes together seamlessly. As a videographer it's so refreshing to work at a location that really cares about their clients and their vendors. I can't wait to be back filming there again soon! Feel free to take a look at this clip from a recent wedding and reception we filmed there: Jacob & Rachel Sneak Peek https://vimeo.com/617407191

Definitely check out David L Baker for your reception if you're ballin' on a budget. They were able to fit our budget well within reason and had all the amenities that my, now, wife was looking for. They were great at communicating with us throughout and helped us plan this stressful, but joyous(!) time. Amber gave us the first walkthrough and Julia helped us in more detail afterwards. Julia did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator. IF anything terrible happened during the wedding... I definitely never found out! So good job to both of them I guess! Logistically, there's plenty of parking, plenty of wiggle room, multiple bathrooms, bar... What more does a reception need? Definitely give them a look!
