I only showed her a couple of inspiration/general ideas, and mostly told her that we just wanted bright seasonal (August) flowers, and to go ahead and do whatever she thought was best. We didn't have a set color palette since we didn't have a wedding party, so she really could choose whatever she wanted. This was the best decision I could have made because everything was even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Trust me, if you're not a picky bride, ask Lindsay to surprise you and you won't be disappointed!”

“From the moment we first spoke with Destiny from WildRoot Moments, we were impressed by her thorough, and professional communication style. The quality of their work is phenomenal. Destiny and her team went above and beyond on our wedding day. Pushing the timeline (even stretching it in certain ways lol!) while also quickly directing all those involved to ensure the photos were done smoothly. “Our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle in May 2025 was a fairytale. It rained cats and dogs and we didn't even notice. The venue's decor is cozy, romantic, and interesting, so all of our professional photographs (and those taken by our guests on their own phones throughout the venue) contained a background with character and interest unique to anything we (or our guests) have ever seen. The outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour spaces would have been so lovely in-bloom in May, but we knew at Bill Miller's we would have a beautiful event even if it rained. The bridal suite, especially, was a god send, able to easily accommodate the crowd that was my bridal party. We continue to receive compliments from our guests about how 'cool' the venue was and how attentive and professional the staff was throughout the event. The planning team of Victoria and her mom, Lisa, made us feel confident every step of the way that our day would run smoothly. As a high-anxiety bride, I was relieved and assured by our conversations with the planning team all the way up to the rehearsal - and with the attention and care I received throughout my wedding day. At one point, Victoria got on her knees to help me change my shoes during the reception because I could not reach my feet around my large wedding dress. We would have our wedding at Bill Miller's again tomorrow.”

“I can’t even put into words how special my wedding was thanks to The Lake House (but I’m going to try lol). I found this location on Zola and when I contacted the owner, Paul, it was like speaking to an old friend even though we had never met before. He is so sincere and thoughtful and has the best tips and tricks for wedding planning. I never hired a wedding planner and I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning of my planning process but Paul was there every step of the way for me. He answered all my emails filled with dumb questions and he advised me in the best way. Carole, my wedding coordinator at the venue, was an absolute gem as well and made things so easy. My wedding was 11/16/24 (the last wedding of their season!) and I still have guests telling me how fantastic everything was. Especially the FOOD. I truly dream about the filet mignon and tiramisu we had about twice a week lol. I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. I would have my next birthday party here just so I can see Paul and Carole again and eat more of the delicious food lol. The location is GORGEOUS and they truly made my wedding the best night of my entire life.”
