Where do I start? As a wedding planner, this is one of my favorite venues. From the ceremony site that overlooks the pound to the breath take arch you have for photos. I love this place. Your guest will feel like they're out in the middle of fields!!! Now let's talk table all the space inside the venue. They have such a great space. You can have a fully seated dinner and room for a great dance floor ao your guest can dance. night away! I hope to see you soon at the venue for your wedding!

The Hive is a beautiful event center located in Staley, NC. We are situated on 200 acres of rolling farm land in Randolph county NC. Our facility began life as the clubhouse for Ferguson Farms Golf Course. When the golf course closed in 2012, it sat abandoned until our family came across the land. We came across this gem while we were searching for a larger property to expand our farm. It had been neglected for so many years, but we immediately saw great potential in its natural beauty, barns, and clubhouse. The streams, ponds, and woodlands teamed with wildlife and we just knew this farm had to been revived into something new, a place where joy, laughter and unity would be experienced.

Hi this place is great! It has some of the most beautiful views in Randolph COunty - there are real live animals there... concrete walking paths - indoor and outdoor options - climate controlled facility - Wedding barn the bathrooms have some sort of custom made epoxy coated solid oak counter tops - there is real farm equipment but they will move it out of site if needed sunset off of a roll up garage door - very unique and much less expensive than others

Red Oak Events hosted an event for me with about 60 guests at their Hummin’ Bird Hall. It was so much fun because it was such a unique venue. Walking through the gardens, seeing the art gallery, going out on the balcony terrace, so much more than just a ballroom. The staff greeted us and escorted us to our event and constantly checked on us.

Starlight Meadow was everything we wanted! It rained almost the entire morning of our wedding, but the outdoor ceremony site dried out quickly for us to still be able to get married at the site we had picked out. Communication with The Gardens At Gray Gables was great. All of our questions were answered promptly, even on the day of our wedding. The space itself was absolutely beautiful - it was literally my dream venue. All of our guests raved about how gorgeous it was, even when it rained and we had to flip everything last minute. The staff was amazing in helping us adjust our plans, and our wedding day ended up being the most amazing day of our lives. The Pavilion at Nick's Road made our wedding venue dreams come true. We were initially attracted to the venue because we had many out of town friends in our wedding party, so the fact that they could stay on site made the entire weekend an experience instead of just one quick day. Catherine was such a pleasure to work with and I felt very supported by her at every turn. The venue and land itself is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. We were able to have the fire going at night after all of the wedding shenanigans so that our guests could relax instead of being "kicked out by 10" like other venues. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. If we made one right choice throughout the whole wedding planning process, it was to choose this venue. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

Ardenwood Farm was the perfect venue for my summer bridal shower and I could not have been happier with my experience! The owner, Julia, is kind, communicative, and overall wonderful to work with. We rented the small venue behind the covered riding ring and it more than comfortably fit 25 guests at a competitive price for the Chapel Hill area. The chairs and tables were set up to our specifications and we had full access to their decor closet, including a bar cart, vases, and vintage pieces. We were able to bring our own food and had access to an ice maker and fridge — and most importantly for July, full control of the thermostat! Easy parking for unloading/loading party supplies and for guests. My guests also loved seeing the horses around the property! Highly recommend choosing Ardenwood Farm for your bridal shower, bridesmaid luncheon, or other wedding event!

When you think of everything your wedding could be thus venue exceeds that. When we entered this venue me and my husband knew it was "the one". The space, the owner, what's included for the pricepoint....well it was everything and more. Once our wedding day came it was seamless. We had a little rain in the morning, but that staff wiped everything down and we were able to have out ceremony on the overlook. Jamie (the owner) kept us on schedule and worked behind the scenes with her staff and my vendors to make sure everything was a dream come true. I cant recommend this venue enough and I wouldn't change a thing.

I held my son and his now wife’s reception here in Sept 2024. You will not find a better person to work with than Sandra. She has the best idea’s and will help make your event special and perfect. The Bonaparte castle is a must see to appreciate its beauty. Her way of putting ideas together with your own brings her event space to life. Not only are the renovating a castle but they have a great outdoor space including a fire pit. There is a small tavern that can be used for that very purpose. Working with Tony and Beth at Old Lystra Inn was an absolute dream from start to finish. After spending countless hours searching for the perfect venue, my husband and I knew immediately that this was the one the moment we pulled up the driveway. Tony greeted us with a late-evening tour that felt incredibly personal, not at all rushed—and it set the tone for everything that followed. The property itself is breathtaking. The grounds are impeccably maintained and filled with charm, and so much is included in the rental package—tent, dance floor, chairs, tables, and more—which made planning far less stressful. It was a huge relief not having to coordinate all those big logistics separately. Beth and Tony were a constant source of support leading up to the big day. Whether it was a quick stop by to walk the grounds, a late-night email, or one of our many questions (and there were a lot!), they always made time for us. We never felt like “just another couple” in a long wedding season. Instead, they made us feel like our day truly mattered—like we were getting married in a place that had heart and soul, not just beautiful scenery. On the day itself, Tony was everywhere—behind the scenes making things happen and helping everything flow effortlessly. We can’t overstate how much that meant to us. Thanks to his quiet dedication, we were able to be fully present and just enjoy the day. We are endlessly grateful to have had our wedding at Old Lystra Inn. It was the best day of our lives, and Tony and Beth played such a meaningful role in making that possible. We can’t wait for the day we get to return as guests and relive the magic from a different perspective. Highly, highly recommend!

Some of my favorite features were the high peak tent which sets this venue apart & creates such a luxurious & elegant feel. The blooming gardens and the indoor space available are all well kept and beautifully decorated. We are so thrilled to move forward with booking this space. Additionally, this venue is owned by a lovely couple and you can tell they have put their heart and soul into the details of the venue, it’s rare to find a venue space that has that human touch & warmth and Greengate Manor certainly excels in that respect!

I have nothing bad to say about this venue. All communication we had with them was efficient, professional, and helpful. They were ready to help with everything we needed and met all that we were looking for. Everyone invited was in love with the cottage and the venue space. Village pine is an absolutely beautiful venue with a wonderful space for all things (bridal getting ready, grooms getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc.). This venue is a stunning space with outrageously helpful staff and I am so glad to have had my wedding here. I cannot recommend them enough.
