“Nas was absolutely phenomenal!! We just loved working with her on our wedding day. From the first phone interview, she was professional, courteous, and really wanted to get a feel for our vision of the day. At the wedding, she remained unobtrusive while still managing to capture every memorable detail—we never felt uncomfortable about the camera being there and it all felt very organic. She had an amazingly quick turnaround on the pictures, and we got a sneak peak then received our full gallery before the estimated 30 days! I was extremely satisfied with the number and quality of the pictures: they were true to life and any color editing enhanced, rather than altered, the photos. She did a fantastic job of helping us pose while making the photos look effortless and candid. For the quality, time, effort, and product, I would say that the price we paid was MORE than reasonable. During my first meeting with Maya, they put me completely at ease and walked me through the process, their photography philosophy, figured out what my spouse and I would/wouldn’t like in our photos, and even helped us get a sense of how our day’s timeline would go. Since we planned the entire wedding ourselves, their help even from this first meeting was invaluable. Maya and their partner the day-of were an absolute blast to have at the event. Even the usual stiff family formal photos felt fun and organic with their guidance, and they were always up for impromptu shots and suggestions. They make sure that their work is organic, dynamic, and really captures the essence of the couple’s relationship. I asked them to use my Polaroid alongside their professional gear and they were really enthusiastic about the prospect, so now I have a set of excellent Polaroids in addition to their amazing high definition work. We did some staged photos such as family, bridal party, etc., but some of the best pictures that came out were the ones that weren't staged and Ryan and Kate caught in the moment. Ryan stayed with the guys before the ceremony and got a lot of great shots of the groomsmen and fathers getting ready. Kate stayed with the ladies and caught a lot of great moments of the bridesmaids and mothers getting ready. I never felt awkward taking any of the photos and you barely even noticed they were there at times! They were with us from getting ready until the end of the reception so they caught the entire day and I couldn't be happier. They really take the time to get great shots and make sure the day is captured in the fullest. Hey - I’m Tillie! Does someone putting a camera in your face make you cringe? Me too! I know having your photo taken can be awkward and uncomfortable. I take my time to get to know my clients and their photo goals prior to their wedding day.

“We cannot say enough positive words about tillie and the work she did for our wedding!!! She was amazing!! From the very beginning of hiring her she was available and communicative and listened to all our needs and wants for our pictures and at the end they were perfect! She was even adaptable to parts of the wedding that were a surprise to our guests and we forgot to inform her that they were happing and she was able to capture those moments! She sent us a little preview of our pictures right away for us to enjoy as she worked on the others. I as the bride also had a slight issue with how my hair turned out and though most people wouldn’t have noticed, to me it was a huge deal and she was able to edit out the hair in the pictures to make it exactly how I wanted! The wedding website she set up was beautiful organized and easy to navigate for us and our friends and family. Would highly recommend using Tillie for any event you have!”

So many times when I present a collection of images to a couple they'll find themselves overwhelmed with emotion. I've thought a lot about this and believe it's because so much happens so fast on a wedding day that your mind can only process a certain amount in the moment. When you see those authentic images that tell your story all of the information that your mind stored during your wedding is released. It's amazing how powerful images are. I am grateful to be able to give my couples photos that they'll treasure for life.
