I have over 25 years of playing and performing experience, and received classical training from Dr. Irene Peery-Fox for many years. I create modern piano/vocal covers of popular songs, as well as my own original songs, and I enjoy contributing a variety of genres and styles to weddings and events. Merinda Starnes has performed as a solo, orchestra, and ensemble musician since 2007. She received her degree in harp performance from the University of Utah studying under Dr. Cathy Clayton. During her college career, she performed with the University of Utah and University of Arizona’s Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic as their principal harpist. ​Her solo performing career started at the age of 9 and since then, she has played in over 100 weddings and events.
