The spacious and beautifully designed venue was spotless, and the layout provided the perfect setting for a seamless celebration.\n\nWe chose to have our ceremony at Congress Park, but for couples looking to hold both their ceremony and reception in one location, Excelsior Springs offers a beautiful ceremony area as well. It’s a lovely option that makes it easy to keep everything in one place.\n\nMarianna, our wedding planner, was a standout. She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the big day. We truly felt like we were in great hands with her guidance.\n\nOne of the major perks was the venue’s connection to the Courtyard Marriott, which is only a 30-second walk away. This made it so easy for our guests to stay right next to the event, adding such a level of convenience. We also rented a room at the Marriott for our rehearsal dinner, and they allowed us to bring in our own food and soft drinks, which made it feel even more personal and special.\n\nOne of the aspects we loved most was the flexibility to add our own personal touches. We were able to bring in custom signage, homemade centerpieces, set up a fun candy bar, and even add a mirror welcome sign selfie station. Our DJ also provided a photo booth, which our guests loved. These touches made the celebration feel uniquely ours and added to the fun atmosphere.\n\nOverall, Excelsior Springs Event Center and the Courtyard Marriott created a perfect combination for a memorable and stress-free wedding weekend. Everything I wanted for my wedding was done and was perfect. The decor was amazing, the food was great, and the layout of the room was great. All my guests were able to see the dance floor from their seats. There was also a discount for guests staying at the hotel. I had many complements from my guests about the reception as well. The price was low considering the location is in downtown Saratoga Springs. The hotel has a staircase in the back that leads to Congress Park for beautiful pictures. It is also within walking distance to many churches along Broadway. My night was amazing! This place is a hidden gem.\n\nThe Mansion – A Dream Venue\n\nThe historic Art Deco mansion is stunning. Normally, a property this grand would be a museum, roped off with security. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience.\n\nSeamless Layout & Guest Comfort\n\nThe layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture.\n\nOne overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!).\n\nIncredible Food\n\nChoosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. She not only made detailed arrangements and timetables for wedding parties, also proactively reached out to photographer, DJ, florists and bakery to made sure everything is in place. \nWe enjoyed our wedding day simply following Molly and Megan’s lead. Their team made everything smooth, especially when we encountered guest change and extra guest issue. Molly solved it super quickly. We also chose to reserved most of the rooms in the claybrook hotel so it is very convenient for welcome party and the wedding. We could not go up the mountain due to raining and windy but we had wedding on the grass. The photos came out so nice.
