The Griffin Inn, as it was once before named, has a rich and interesting history beginning around 1872. First as a root cellar, then as a home and about 1910 as an Inn and restaurant. More than just her cherished old buildings, behold the lovely grounds she’s nestled on… The Griffin Inn is quintessential old Door County, a last of her kind, emblematic of things as they once were, a witness as to why many of us love Door County! The Griffin Inn, reborn… So what is The Griffin Inn today? We’re a “caretaker” of this grand old place, with a mission to restore the old charm of her buildings and grounds, so that you and your family and friends may continue to enjoy this special place for years to come. Please consider hosting your special private events with us at The Griffin Inn.

I cannot rave about my experience at Hamlet Creek enough! I was really looking for an “all in one” type of venue so I booked ceremony, reception, photography, and used their decor services as well. I LOVED everything about my experience. Being from out of town the decor services were so amazing - no only was Patience able to bring my vision to life but it was also so helpful to bring less stuff to Green Bay. All of my guests raved about how gorgeous the venue was and we got ready on site too to keep it simple. 10/10 recommend booking your wedding with them! Chris & Patience put their heart and soul into the space and you can tell when you’re there. Highly recommend booking all your services with them!
