We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Out at the Vintage Rose Barn, one can enjoy all of the beauty mother nature has to offer and the charm of the countryside while still being easily accessible no matter what direction one is coming from. Whether it's in the bloom of the spring with blossoms of 120-year-old lilacs and daffodils to summer when the trees are a lush green with night skies filled with twinkling fireflies and falling stars, or in the fall when the colors burst into an enchanting sight. This peaceful 5-acre property is filled with beauty. There are 200-300 year trees that fill the property with beauty; one is wired to hold three chandeliers to light for a romantic day/evening.

Wedding events can take place at the following St. Joseph County Parks: St. Patrick's County Park, Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park, and Bendix Woods County Park Red Barn Package: St. Patrick's Farm is a historic barn built in 1925. Before becoming an event space, this barn was a dairy barn on St. Patrick’s Farm. The inside has been renovated, but the original barn doors, windows, and silos remain. The Pfeil Pavilion – a large, open-air shelter behind the Red Barn, is included. This space is perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or even outdoor games. The Goodhew Gazebo is just a few steps away and is a popular spot to exchange vows. Other popular venues at St. Patrick's County Park include the Fragomeni Shelter, Covered Bridge/Grape Arbor, and/or the Manion Cabin. The Glenn Bauer Shelter and the STUDEBAKER trees at Bendix Woods County Park are popular for wedding ceremonies. Baugo Station at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park is also a great option.

The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony. Hamilton Lake's Cold Springs evolved from a 1870 farm purchase by Simpson Watkins. By 1885, Watkins Grove hosted picnics, leading to a hotel (1898), dance hall, and early 1900s recreation. Cold Springs Cottage Park, platted in 1896, grew significantly, with a unique leasing system. Sundays featured bands and speakers. Visitors arrived by train. A larger hotel opened in 1914, and the dance hall became a central draw with live music. A beach area developed later. The hotel prospered through the 20th century, adding a bar and modernizing. An 18-hole golf course was built. Dancing remained popular with big bands, later transitioning to rock. Today, Cold Springs offers a hotel, dining, bar, beach, golf, cottages, and retro dances, still family-run after five generations.
