Eric is extremely friendly, easy going, and fun to work with. He allowed us to make our payments to him over the course of the 2 months before our wedding. We texted and had multiple phone calls planning out every detail of the big day. On the day of our wedding Eric and his second shooter both showed up on time and were nothing less than professional. “There aren’t enough words to describe the absolute icon that is Delycia. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. It felt like hanging out with a long-time friend, coupled with Delycia’s incredible ability to give just enough direction to create stunning photos while still capturing “us.” We couldn’t stop gushing about her afterward. “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

“Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”

“When you elope in the middle of a pandemic, it matters all the more that you love your photographer--since they'll be the only other person at your wedding. :) And in short, we couldn't be happier that ours was Shawnee. She has such a gift and a love for the work she does—and it shows. We knew she was the right person from the moment we met on Zoom--she is warm and kind, asked all the right questions, and instantly put us at ease. My partner and I eloped at the end of October 2020 in DC, just before the election. It was a whirlwind moment for so many reasons, especially as a queer couple. And it mattered to us that the person who captured those treasured memories, really understood what that moment meant to us. Everyone who sees our photos marvels at how wonderful they are—and no doubt we look great, but Shawnee’s warmth and direction and stellar eye really made all the difference. Tom and Em Weddings

We are Tom & Emily, a newly-wed freelance photo and video team living in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We love roaming the streets of our small town, drinking coffee at our local coffee shop, eating dominos pizza, and watching the bachelor (don’t judge us lol). We are laid back but also goofy and love to laugh. Emily loves planning and is type A - you will usually see her checking her watch and moving everyone along to where they need to be. Tom loves directing and is one of the most passionate people you’ll ever meet. (Tom also loves chocolate milk - he wanted me to add that).
