This venue is absolutely beautiful! We got married here on 12.07.2024 and everything was truly perfect. Raven, our wedding coordinator was fantastic. She helped us from day one when we booked over the summer and has truly been heaven sent to us! She is quick to respond to your needs and you can tell she genuinely cares. Carlina helped us as well at rehearsal and the wedding and was amazing. She is so fun and has such a lovable personality. They are truly the best duo. They go above and beyond to make everything go so smoothly and as the stresses that can come with being the bride, I was sooo grateful! The venue itself is lovely. It’s really nice how close everything is, it makes it easier on your guests having the ceremony and reception right by each other. And the courtyard was perfect for cocktails and snacks! Thank you all so much for everything you did to make our day unforgettable!!!

We held our December 2020 wedding at South Congress Hotel. When we began looking at venues, we wanted a space that would be uniquely Austin and give off a fun, festive vibe for our late Saturday night wedding. The spaces onsite (we used the Event Space, Courtyard, and the Lobby Bar) had so much character and were perfect for guests to be able to flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception with ease. The quality of the food and bar were important to us in selecting a venue, and South Congress Hotel provided amazing options with delicious food that was miles above "standard" hotel food. While the pandemic forced us to make adjustments to our guest count and some other aspects of our wedding, South Congress Hotel and Sara Ruddle were a DREAM to work with. They were flexible, creative, and accommodating throughout the process. I can't emphasize this enough - as a local business they treated us as partners and friends, not just customers, and multiple times throughout the process we commented how glad we were that we were working with the team at South Congress during the unusual times of 2020. Our guests loved being on South Congress Avenue and being so close to all of the fun activities downtown and South Congress have to offer. 100% recommend!

My husband and I fell in love with this place when we first saw it and the pricing is great for everything they include! We didn’t to bring too much decor because the venue itself is already gorgeous and they already have some decor for use! The bar was awesome, didn’t need to worry about it and the pricing was also very good. Becky was great at helping everything move along on the day of. Overall, highly recommend this venue. Our wedding was beautiful and had that intimate feel we were wanting.

We booked back in 2019 and through all of the craziness with COVID, Renee made the whole planning process easy and absolutely fun!! When I say they do EVERYTHING to make your day easy, fun, and perfect... they literally do everything!! Alex was awesome during the reception! The reception was beautiful and so much fun! They are so easy to get in contact with for any and all questions. Overall, our wedding was the best day ever and a huge reason for that was because of The Bay Jewel!! I will miss y’all! Thank you!

The getting ready spaces were so welcoming and had everything we could possibly need and there was plenty of space for our bridal party to get ready. Krysta was so helpful and hands on throughout the entire process- she was our coordinator through Marino Made Events as well and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with her! This was truly my dream venue and made our wedding such a special day.

Having my daughter's wedding and reception at The Barnhill Center was amazing! It was so nice and convenient to be able to have the wedding ceremony in the theater and then the guests just go upstairs for the reception. The theater is absolutely beautiful! We loved the historic feel and look. The ballroom is so elegant with gorgeous chandeliers and beautiful wood floors. Most of our guests were from Houston, Austin and Dallas and many told us they were so impressed with the venue. The pictures online do not do it justice. My daughter and her fiance' (now husband) looked at pictures of the Barnhill Center and thought it was very pretty, but when they saw it in person they fell in love with it immediately and didn't want to look at any other venues. It is truly the perfect wedding venue! Not only is the Barnhill Center amazing, so is the staff. Working with Alexandra Dill was incredible. She went above and beyond anything we could have expected. She was very professional, first class and so much fun to work with. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed working with her. We were able to give our daughter her dream wedding because of The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre. We couldn't have asked for a better, more memorable experience!

The venue itself is spacious and has an elegant layout with plenty of options to customize the space to our vision. On the day of our wedding, they had a dedicated manager on duty for the entire event, which provided us with peace of mind. They also arranged for security and made it easy for us to pay them separately, which was a nice added touch. While we were able to use our own vendors, we made sure to provide Legends Hall with the list ahead of time so they could approve everyone. Overall, Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake exceeded our expectations and helped make our special day truly unforgettable.

This winery holds such a special place in my heart. The moment we first walked in to tour it as a wedding venue, I could already tell that I loved it! The owners are great, the food and wine is delicious and the building just has such a cool historical, yet contemporary vibe. Soma Winery hosted our wedding on Valentine’s Day 2025 and it was incredible! Our photographer and videographer were able to capture the elements of the downtown area, which really made our captured memories feel so special and unique. The winery provided food and wine, as well as the venue. This was virtually a one stop shop for many of our wedding needs and they made the process so easy. She remained available at all time to us and She provided recommendations to help ease the work load when vendor shopping, helped during the event and even after during clean up time. The only issue we had was that when we arrived, the reception area was not set up like the picture that i sent that they asked for the week of. It was simple, with how many chairs and tables needed. We used Pegasus City Brewery as our welcome party. The iconic Dallas Pegasus was great icon for the out of town guests. I cannot speak more highly of the staff, these are sweet, helpful, patient, and happy people. Partner with this type of team! We made our own cups the size of their standard drink and they were able to use for the event. There’s a pool table, Photo Booth, and plenty of tables. We were super happy with our event and thank the Pegasus Brewery Team!
