“BEST BAND EVER!!!! The whole experience was INCREDIBLE, not only was Trevor amazing to work with but also all my guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the band was. I’d book them every single time and have already sent their info to friends with weddings coming up. We got married at Saltwater Farm Vineyard with the ceremony and reception all in one place. Silver Arrow band did our ceremony sound, cocktail hour music, and reception and it all went PERFECTLY. For the ceremony, they played a Spotify playlist for our guests as they were seated for the 30 minutes before the ceremony, perfectly played the processional and recessional music (shout out Bridgeton for making quartet versions of Taylor Swift songs), and had the microphone and speaker set up for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour, I kept imagining a saxophone player (for no apparent reason) and Trevor let me know it’s usually just a keyboardist who plays during this time, which was absolutely fine, but they ended up adding a saxophone and keyboardist to make my vision come to life. We also had an MC who helped narrate the night. But I cannot highlight enough about how amazing the band was. My best friend who is a big fan of Broadway was in awe of the vocalists and my family literally started dancing on the tables because they were having so much fun listening to the band. It was a perfect blend of old school favorites and new songs. I strongly believe a band makes or breaks a wedding and Silver Arrow Band can absolutely make your wedding everything you want it to be and more. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. “We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”
