The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “We booked MyDeeJay and were paired with DJ Jeff Furnas. Jeff was extremely responsive and professional throughout the planning process, and did a great job taking our preferences into account while also taking time to listen and care about the special moments - for example, playing a special song for my parents and making a nice announcement during the party. Jeff also helped keep us on schedule during the reception while still allowing us flexibility to enjoy the event. Jeff also coordinated effectively with the planners, event staff, and us leading up to the wedding day, as well as throughout the day and night. From a music perspective, Jeff was fantastic: he was flexible to take as little or as much direction as needed. For example, we chose specific songs for the ceremony and first dances which he cut for time and mixed to perfection. We gave a more general "vibe" for cocktail hour and he ran with building out a broader playlist for that, and he did a great job of keeping the dance floor rocking the entire night, while accepting our must plays, our "do-not plays" etc.”

We kicked off a video call with co-owner, Matt, who spent time getting to know us personally, broke down their services, how everything works and answered all of our questions. They are wonderful people and insanely talented musicians, and they are so chill, flexible and kind. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event.
