We are a family owned and operated ranch on 25 acres of land near Homer Alaska. Our family were homesteaders that settled here in the early 50’s and carved out a living in the wilds of Alaska. We have incorporated as much of our heritage as we can into our venue to create an authentic Alaskan experience for you, your family and your guests. We are a “Barn” venue but we are so much more than that with layers of experiences to discover and enjoy. An Alaskan homestead vibe with a noticeable touch of southern hospitality. We will work with you and your vendors during your planning phase to create your unique day. We are always on site to make sure things go smoothly and that every thing goes as planned. We have everything you need on site to create an amazing event, but love to work with you and your vendors of choice to add your personal touches that really make your wedding unique and unforgettable.

Our experience at AK Diamond J Ranch was nothing short of amazing. The owners were awesome, kind, concise, clear, and incredibly patient throughout the entire wedding planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was gorgeous, clean, and beautifully rustic. They provided us with great advice, and Stephanie, the owner, was a lifesaver on the wedding day - she swooped in to help my bridesmaids and I with dress mishaps, and had thoughtful essentials like needle and thread on hand for any emergencies. This family-run business truly does incredible work, and I feel so blessed to have been married in their stunning barn venue. I loved every moment of our special day here.

As a wedding planner in Alaska, I’ve had the pleasure of planning numerous weddings at Arctic Valley, and it remains one of my favorite venues for couples seeking a breathtaking, Alaskan backdrop. With its stunning mountain views and wildflower- and berry-filled hills, Arctic Valley offers a gorgeous setting that feels miles away from the city—yet it’s conveniently close to Anchorage. The lodge provides the perfect space for hosting wedding receptions, and dancing late into the midnight sun. For couples looking for a truly Alaskan experience, this venue delivers in every season, but summer and fall weddings here capture Alaska at its absolute best. If you’re dreaming of a mountaintop wedding surrounded by nature, Arctic Valley is an incredible choice! — Jordan AK Happenings

I've been trying to come up with the best review of this beautiful venue that fully encompasses all that it has to offer. The first time I stepped on to what is now the woodland trail with River the owner, she was explaining all of her aspirations, I was sold. Even if I was surrounded by dirt & fallen trees. I knew with the hard work, determination, & talent that she & Forrest have, this would become a stunning place. That was 2019. Boy did they knock it out of the park. They have created a wedding wonderland. The pavillion is perfect for cover. Whether you use it for your seating, dancing, or both. Its large wood columns & beams give you the true Alaskan feel. As you're standing inside you can't help but be mesmerized by the mountains surrounding you or the vastness of the fields. River has also done a fantastic job in her selection of tables & chairs. The tables are large 6ft rounds that allow you to seat 8 people comfortably, & the chairs are not only beautiful but comfortable. I had multiple guest state that they were very comfortable. When it got cold in the evening, River got out the heaters for us all to warm around, she is always trying to make every experience the best it can & goes out of her way to make it happen. The bathrooms are clean, large enough for even the big ballgowns, & she even took the time to make plaques telling you about the vegetation around you that can harm you if you come in contact. I've been to many venues, I don't know a single one that has been this thorough, in not only creating the full experience of a great event, but also the care for the people who choose her venue. It truly was a dream getting married there. I can't wait to watch the venue continue to grow & become all that she has envisioned. I can't recommend this venue enough.
