From the moment we began working with Hector David and Ebullient Memories Films we knew we had made the right choice in our wedding videographer. He took the time to really get to know us, our story as a couple, and our hobbies. We even found some shared interests, like traveling to Japan and watching Formula One racing! Each email felt warm and sincere, like we were talking to a friend. Hector was also very thorough in finding out exactly what kind of shots we wanted him to film. On the day of our wedding, it could not have gone smoother. Hector and his team were very professional, but also made us feel extremely comfortable the entire time. We thought it would be awkward to be in front of the camera, but we hardly even noticed they were there. It was amazing how they were able to capture the essence of our entire wedding day on film! Four months after our wedding, we traveled to Hawaii for a second wedding reception with family members there that were not able to make it to the actual wedding in California. Hector was able to get our wedding short film finished by then and we were able to play it for our guests at the reception. It was a perfect way to share our wedding day with them! They really felt like they were there! We truly loved working with Hector and would definitely recommend him in the future! We will be cherishing these special memories from our wedding for years to come, all thanks to Hector and his amazing team!

Finisterre Visuals

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Weaverville, CA

So what does finisterre mean? Finisterre is Latin. If you know some Spanish, you’ll recognize two words squeezed into one: “fin” and “tierra,” essentially meaning the world’s end. Don’t worry, not in an apocalyptic sense of the word — it’s actually a place. It’s where the Romans once stood in modern-day Spain. They looked across the vast Atlantic Ocean, and thought to themselves “is this the end of the road?” Finisterre is an ode to that majestic feeling of unknown. Getting married is one of those unique experiences.

This review is long overdue and for that we apologize! We hired Ryan and his team to be our videographers for our wedding at the Corner Barn in Graeagle, CA this past July and are so thankful for our decision. Ryan was the main videographer and brought an additional shooter. Between the two of them, they got absolutely amazing footage. Ryan is a mastermind with putting the footage all together and turning it into one beautiful video. All the little details were brought together in such an artful way that we are so impressed with. We loved his style of video, especially the documentary part. He interviewed important people, such as family members, MOH, and BM, at different parts throughout our special day and had those included in the video as well. Ryan was so kind and communicative throughout the whole process. It was obvious how knowledgeable and passionate he was and we were so comfortable working with him and trusting him with our most special day. He did a great job of thinking of every detail to make it special. Once the video was done, my husband and I received a portable video player that showed his work and it was such a great surprise! Overall, we could not recommend Ryan enough to hire as your videographer.

Motel Cinema

5.0

  • Documentary style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Weaverville, CA for additional fees

Fueled by nostalgic recalling we aim to create a film that is timeless and authentic. Motel Cinema is based out of San Diego, Ca and our approach to weddings is inspired by the untraditional travelers before us, who hit the road in search of adventure into the unknown. We don't like boxes and we don't want wedding films that fit into one. If that tickles your fancy let's get weird.

Awarded Best of Zola
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to hire Motel Cinema! As an entertainment marketer, specifically for documentaries, how our wedding would be documented was top of mind for me and I met with quite a few videographers. Brandon completely exceeded my expectations with the moments he caught on film, the editing, the music, the vibe. I really felt like he saw us and reflected it all back to us in the most special way which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. He was an absolute joy to work with through the entire process- easy to communicate with and quick, but also a relaxed energy that fit seamlessly into our wedding weekend. I cannot recommend Motel Cinema enough and I’m so so grateful that we were connected.

Amanda was an absolute pleasure to work with. She captured all of the shots we wanted and more. Amanda didn't have to extend her time to capture us and our guests on the dancefloor but she did anyway! She worked well with all of our vendors to make our day perfect all while providing an easy going and calming presence. The quality of her work is outstanding. We highly recommend Amanda to those looking for a videographer.

I received a bit of bad news only one week before my wedding when the videographer (that I had booked almost a year prior to my wedding date) said she had to cancel. I was devastated!! Allyamore Visuals saved my wedding day!! With very little notice, the team was to the rescue. The professionalism, the advice, the kindness, the help, etc. My ceremony video, the teaser, the highlight reel, PERFECT. It all came out better than I could have hoped for. I could not have asked for any better and I cannot thank them enough!!

From the last light on the horizon to the messy and playful love, your film will hold memories, not just videos.

We were really struggling to find a videographer that understood what we wanted and was within our budget. Dianna was warm and friendly from the start! She was very patient as we talked through everything we wanted in our video. On the day of our wedding, she was very thorough and captured some shots that we didn't even know happened! We were worried that our photographer and videographer would get in the way of guests' views but Dianna was very respectful and was able to capture beautiful footage without disrupting our guests. We cannot recommend Dianna enough!

Food & Cake Wedding Films

HEYYY! *waves hands* We are Leandra + Clinton Cunanan, owners and lead videographers of Food + Cake Wedding Films. We are huge advocates for doing exactly what you want on your wedding day. We had the most epic wedding of all time (ask us about it!), but we didn't hire a videographer. And now this why we do what we do. It's the best feeling knowing each one of our couples will be able to relive their wedding day for the rest of their lives. We didn't have that, and now we get to give that to you!

I am so blown away by not only the quality of Clint and Leandra's work as videographers, but also what wonderful people they are! Not even halfway through our first zoom with them to talk about what packages they offer and our vision for the day I knew they were the perfect fit for us! Being with them on the wedding day felt like hanging out with old friends, they were amazing at blending in to the crowd to capture candid moments while also giving us prompts that created some of our favorite memories of the day. They worked so well with our other vendors and I don't think our day would have been complete without them. They are masters at what they do, and also the perfect people to have during a busy and, at times, stressful day (Leandra was able to bussle my dress when no one else could get the loop on the buttons AND snagged me some appetizers when I was resting my feet after the receiving line, she was a lifesaver!) My husband and I both teared up watching our trailer and highlight reel, and then happy cried getting to see our whole ceremony, private vows, speeches, and first dances. I know this is footage we’ll be so happy to look back on in the years to come, not just of my husband and I but of our whole families as well! I'm so happy we found Food Cake, you will not regret hiring this fantastic couple!
