And after seeing her light, bright and beautiful work, then having our first consultation with her- we were sold! We had our engagement photos with Kelly in Newport, and dealt with a cloudy, drizzly day- she made it so much fun, and beautiful, and our photos were outstanding and bright and lovely despite the weather. You could literally not tell it had been a bit gray and bland that day based on the photos we got back. “We hired Petit Eclair for our wedding and are so glad that we did!! My husband and I are both not very comfortable in front of the camera so we were nervous for our wedding. However, we found Daria and had the chance to meet with her over coffee to talk about our day, our history, our goals, and what we wanted out of a photographer. Fast forward to our wedding day. She arrived early to our venue, was cognizant of me and my girls getting ready and was able to capture all the small details without me remembering she did (she’s that amazing!!). Daria was able to photograph myself and my girls while her husband photographed my husband and his groomsmen. This was so helpful so that she didn’t miss any small moment to capture. During the ceremony at our church they both captured everything, including the small glances we gave each other, family and friend reactions, and they were very respectful of being in a church. The rest of the day went so smoothly as they came with us to several locations to shoot with our wedding party. What I really loved was that she brought a list of the poses I wanted to have done (that I told her months prior over coffee), so she could help make sure we got those done. I forgot i had requested them and I think it was so thoughtful to have remembered :) They were both SO easy going, kind, but also kept us on track if we needed to move along to keep on schedule for the day. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better wedding photographer than petit eclair. Their photos are natural, light, bright, and genuine. You won’t find anyone better!”

“We just received our photos back from our wedding about a month ago, and we were blown away. We had a feeling the photos would be wonderful because of how professional and attentive our photographer (Athel) was, but of course there is always still that suspense. The team at Indigo and Ivory was wonderful throughout the entire process, always communicative, and it felt like they really cared. Athel even drove a good distance to attend an open house with us at our venue, to get some ideas ahead of time around what settings would be best. He was lovely throughout the whole event, super accommodating of our special requests, and captured all the most important moments. We cannot recommend them enough, the images came out amazing and we are getting tons of compliments! If there is anything I would do differently (and this is not any knock on Indigo and Ivory, this is just general advice for anyone looking to hire any photographer), I probably would have went ahead and added a second photographer for the day (which is something they offer). I wanted to cut costs a bit so we didn't go for it - but of course if you have two you will make sure to get all the different angles you are hoping for and then each person can spend a bit more time with both wedding parties to capture more of those candid moments. I also wish I had made sure to put together a better list of shots that I wanted - once again, these are items that I recommend in general and has nothing to do with Indigo and Ivory. If there are certain things you want your photographer to capture, make sure to write them down and communicate! With all that being said, even if you go with just one photographer and you happen to forget to write down all the specific moments or you just want things to be more free-flow - I 100% recommend Indigo and Ivory for you! They are wonderful and I'm so happy we have these gorgeous images to treasure for years to come.”

She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan. Truely felt like a team because of how kind and thoughtful she is. Get to the day, she was a calming presence for sure. She showed up with a smile on her face and seamlessly cued the bridesmaids and myself throughout. She was present but didn’t hover it was the perfect balance. Along with that she was my hype girl throughout it 3 Now let’s talk about the pictures, I’m not used to getting my picture taken and feel so uncomfortable being the center of attention but she tells you every detail you need, and if something doesn’t look right she’ll correct it gracefully in the moment. I felt like I got to enjoy my day without it feeling like a photoshoot. She delivered the pictures so fast!! “Jenni is an absolute gem of a human and a phenomenal photographer. She is so sweet and such a lovely personality. We first worked with Jenni to take our engagement photos, and my husband and I immediately felt comfortable and familiar with her. We are not comfortable in front of the camera at all, but Jenni somehow made us feel like we'd been taking photos together with her for years. After our engagement shoot, I knew Jenni needed to be our wedding photographer. We more or less picked our wedding date based on her availability!
