I grew up in South Florida and moved to Boston in 2007 to attend Emerson College. While photographing punk rock bands as a hobby I fell into wedding photography. My business grew from there and I never looked back. By the time I graduated I was able to do wedding photography full time and I’ve spent the past decade photographing weddings all over New England, the US, and the world. “Shukhrat Kamalov was a standout HIT. Our guests felt like absolute celebs! We didn't want the standard photobooth as it can come off a little too cheesy for my tastes. And since we were asking all of our guests to come dressed in their best, we decided it was only appropriate they also get their own designated photographer. Shukhrat took his time with each of our guest's photo sessions, directing them and taking multiple shots until our guests loved what he captured. AND he printed them out so our guests had something to bring home. All of our guests told us that these photos would be framed in their home . THEY WERE THAT GOOD.”
