He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). We wanted someone who would “get us”, to be able to navigate all the craziness of an older audience… we were a small party but one with multiple challenges and Maya made it fun, entertaining, and exciting. She got everyone to participate no matter how much they declined. I’m so grateful that we found Maya! She’s full of energy and she goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is included, double checks with the bride and groom to make sure that we got everything covered that we wanted. By the end of our initial interview with her, she already felt like part of the family… if I had to do it all over again, I would hire her in a hot second!!! “From the first call with Joy and Ben I felt at ease and knew we had made the right choice in booking them for our weeding. They were so organized from start to finish which helped everything from our engagement shoot to our wedding day run smoothly. They have truly thought of everything which is especially helpful when trying to figure out what you want captured on your big day. We wanted some specific detail photos and portraits by my dad’s vintage car and they were more than willing to accommodate and did so with excitement. We also had a larger bridal party and have larger families, but they corralled everyone for photos on the wedding day with ease and efficiency.
