Situated alongside the scenic and historic Pequest river in Belvidere New Jersey, our Estate personifies an intimate natural elegance. Our grounds are carefully curated with a grand entrance gate, flowing gardens, and seasonal designs that provide the perfect accompaniment to our three outdoor ceremony spaces. Bello Giorno Estate also offers a separate 'Grooms Room' and Bridal Cottage for the wedding couple. Both spaces serve as the perfect place for your groomsmen and bridesmaids to privately enjoy pre-ceremony drinks and appetizers. Mountainville Manor ensures that your wedding day is a merging of natural beauty and award winning, world class cuisine. The Victorian details and beautiful grounds offer a timeless backdrop for your special day, where you can say your vows in front of the charming gazebo. There is also an inside ceremony option, in our ballroom. Cocktail hour is enjoyed in the “home” part of the Manor with access to the wrap around porch and courtyard area with fire pit. The Manor provides two areas for a spectacular reception - an elegant setting with windows on several sides of the main ballroom to accommodate up to 150 guests or a tented reception on our lush landscaped grounds accommodating up to 250 guests. HISTORY OF ROWSLEY The Scarsdale Woman's Club is headquartered in Rowsley, a 19th century manor house, set on almost four acres amid magnificent trees and plantings. The house was built in 1858 by William Bailey Lang, an English iron merchant. He fashioned it after a property in Derbyshire, England. Among the notable plantings on the site are the 470-year-old white oak tree and the massive rhododendron, both in the front of the property. Rowsley was named an Historic Landmark by the Village of Scarsdale in 1968, and in 2008, it was designated by the nation as a site on its National Register of Historic Places. The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies is a fellowship program for post-doctoral scholars, who work in offices on the fourth and fifth floors of Columbia University's Casa Italiana building, the Academy's home on the main Morningside campus.
