“My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. So, naturally, the world came to a stop right before our planned dinner date to get to know each other (how sweet is she?!) and instead "met" over a Zoom meeting. We discussed that we would be postponing to [this] year. Three hours and one bottle of wine later, we figured out the details for her to come shoot our "mini-mony" wedding on our original date. That day comes and my family couldn't stop talking about how much they adored her! Honestly, she will make you feel like she has known you and your family forever. Okay, I'm probably losing you here so fast forward to our real wedding last weekend and as things go, we got a little bit behind in makeup so Andrea (and her AMAZING second-shooter Rachel) were already at the venue getting the groom shots, details shots, etc. I get there, I'm stressed, not entirely confident in my last-minute coordinator supplied by my venue, and there's Andrea ready to greet me with a huge hug, smile and all the reassuring words a bride needs to hear. Instant relief. When I tell you that Andrea (and Rachel <3) went ABOVE AND BEYOND their job description, I whole-heartedly mean it. She literally bustled my dress and helped me get in/out when I needed to pee. Without this girl, my day would have been unbelievably chaotic and frankly, a mess, but she truly saved it. She will not only photograph your day and produce those breathtaking photos (which she 10000% did because I already got my sneak peeks), but she will be your shoulder to lean on because she truly cares about her brides and loves what she does. I hope this entirely long novel of a review is enough to convince you that Andrea Krout Photography is the right choice, but if not, look at the other stellar reviews and her portfolio because her work speaks for itself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. I’m a photographer, mom, wife, snowboarder, roller coaster enthusiast, former math teacher, and former mechanical engineer. I love the process of learning, which led to me earning my Ph.D. (but you don’t have to call me Dr.)! I have an extremely short attention span, am addicted to wearing beanies and headbands, and am fueled by chai tea. I'm socially awkward and I make weird faces when I concentrate to take photos. I dress for comfort and for rolling around on the ground, standing in creeks, and climbing into trees to capture the best angles for my photographs — but I do clean up reasonably well on wedding days!

From my initial email request, to the day of our wedding, and even now two years later, Janine has always been responsive, helpful, and amazingly talented. Our communication during the wedding planning process was always quick and extremely helpful. She made sure we were on the same page with our photo timeline for the day of the wedding (even with a few last minute changes the day of!) and visited our reception site a few days before the wedding to search for good photo spots. My fiancé and I knew we wanted a photographer who would capture not only the classic wedding portraits but also the candid, silly, and fun side of the wedding. And oh my goodness did Janine DELIVER! She made us feel super comfortable behind the camera and made sure we quickly but efficiently got through all of our formal shots so that we could have time to enjoy our reception where she captured the moments of love and pure spontaneous joy!
