I specialize in Singer/Songwriter versions of classic and modern love songs and Instrumental Finger-Style Guitar to create a unique and romantic ambiance. I also offer MC services, microphones, and a top-notch sound system. I take great joy in sharing my music with couples embarking on their journey together. I imbue my cover songs with the same level of dedication I put into my own music creating truly unique arrangements and performances. With many years of classical voice education and professional experience as an audio engineer, you can have peace of mind knowing that every aspect of your music and sound needs will be expertly taken care of. Located in the Central Coast of California, I offer wedding services in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, and Monterey, and am able to travel throughout the state.

Description

Up to one hour of acoustic guitar instrumentals and/or guitar and vocal. Includes one to two special requests. For a Ceremony, I usually perform acoustic guitar instrumentals or singer/songwriter material as you prefer, about 20 minutes before the ceremony as the guests gather, followed by a favorite song of yours for the processional and recessional. I can learn those from scratch if there is something special you had in mind.

Dave Tate was incredible! He learned a custom song for me to walk down the aisle, which made the moment so personal and special. His voice is stunning, and his music created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. He was also incredibly gracious, playing an impromptu song for our first look and ring warming, which added a heartfelt and memorable touch to our day. Dave was easy to communicate with, completely professional, and arrived with all his own equipment, setting up everything independently. Dave Tate made our wedding a dream! He played as the guests arrived before the ceremony and really set the tone for a beautiful and heartfelt wedding. He was very professional, on time, set everything up seamlessly, and was great to work with. He made beautiful arrangements of the songs that we chose to walk down the aisle to and he played and sang a song in the ceremony. It added SO much to have such quality live music on our special day. His voice is amazing and his guitar playing is perfect. Cannot recommend him highly enough! He is the best in the area by far.
