Electric DJ and phenomenal musician
Christina was the perfect DJ for our wedding! We had interviewed a lot of people, and Christina was the most that exuded both enthusiasm for a great party alongside a deep understanding of the kind of people we are and the music tastes we preferred. She is also so insanely talented as a musician- she performed our first dance for us on her guitar, and it was such a stunning arrangement. She totally got the vibe of the party- Mr. Brightside x Defying Gravity was a wildly unexpected joy for pop rock/musical theater nerds like us. Any time we wanted something a bit different, she immediately pivoted in a very smooth way. She also did a great job MCing the hora for us and got our guests who were not too familiar with the custom up on the dance floor. Christina also stepped in to help us with other equipment for other parts of the wedding and was a total team player. I cannot recommend Christina enough!
Amazing and Talented Band!!
L Rock Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment. From the very first call, their communication was professional, prompt, patient, and responsive - putting our minds at ease during the planning process. They have experience performing for a wide variety of events as well! During our wedding, the musicians and Christina brought an amazing energy that had our guests dancing all night long! They were even willing to play two custom songs that really reflected our unique music tastes and our relationship. Our guests raved about the high level of talent and fun they brought to our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band to make our celebration unforgettable. You should absolutely book them! No hesitation.
Modern Highway Elevated Our Wedding
TLDR: Hiring Modern Highway for our wedding was, hands down, the best decision my wife and I made for our big day. First and foremost, they are all talented, professional, and brought a large repertoire to the table. Christina is a fantastic singer, with big range. She is also a great business person, again with exceptional range - handling our light, acoustic service music, our post-wedding cocktail music, and our reception music. All live - which kicked the sheeet out of a DJ. She also MC’d. For weddings, hitting hitches is bad - there were none. The long version: Our wedding was a Sunday. It was in a more remote area from LA - Temecula. My wife had just been injured in a car accident - so we were a little nervous but the event was still a go with many people flying in. I am a musician and my wife and I had made the decision that live music was what we wanted for our big celebration. In hindsight, my only regret is the Sunday wedding because we hired Modern Highway to do our music and they were on fire. And some guests had to think about…Monday. But Christina and the band really held things together. It was a fun event and a big piece of that was the music. Christina brought a tremendous amount of energy. Her voice is electric and, when it came time to dance, the band brought it. Christina was very active moving through the crowd, dancing and singing. It is so hard to do that well - to be the energy. Where we needed “other” services, for first dances, parent dances, introductions, ceremony, etc., Christina & Modern Highway had it all covered. In a few cases we needed streamed music - covered. We needed someone to make the event go from the mic - covered. In a unique circumstance, my own band wanted to play - covered. If I’d been them, I would have said no. And frankly, based on what I saw from Christina, we could not have had a better person handling the mic that night. My wife and I look back on our wedding day as a true blessing - a day we were ecstatic about on the spot. I know a big piece of our internal satisfaction is knowing the entertainment was top notch. I wish Christina could have been our photographer as well!

From the moment we booked L Rock Entertainment, the process was smooth and efficient. Christina, our DJ and MC, was incredibly professional and clear in all of her communication, ensuring we were fully prepared for our big day. On the wedding day, Christina's energy and enthusiasm kept the party going all night long!!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fun and lively the music was - it truly made the night unforgettable. Christina also has an amazing attention to detail, seamlessly coordinating all the special moments throughout our wedding. She exceeded out vision!! We are so grateful for Christina's sweet and genuine personality, which made working with her an absolute pleasure.
