We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. Making sure your dream day, is actually a dream days, is what we live for. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist. LoveTap was absolutely fantastic for our wedding! From the moment we booked them, they were super professional and easy to work with. On the day of, they kept the dance floor packed all night with an amazing mix of music that had everyone, from the youngest to the oldest guests, raving about how great the music was. I would 100% recommend LoveTap to any couple.

The LoveTap (Conner) was the perfect DJ for our special day. From the very first interaction, he was so easy to communicate with and super responsive to all of our questions and requests. Conner really took the time to understand the vibe we were going for and delivered it flawlessly. We were looking for a not-so-typical wedding DJ, and he provided the perfect balance of classic wedding tunes and more modern, upbeat music that kept our guests dancing all night long. We could not be happier with his caring, understanding, and communicative service - Conner truly helped make our wedding day everything we dreamed of.

I cannot say enough good things about lovetap DJ company. I feel so lucky that I heard about them before booking my wedding DJ— for a multitude of reasons. One, Conner (owner) took the time to meet with me on numerous occasions to go over my music preferences and how I’d like my dream wedding dance floor to go. He really understood what I was saying but also offered amazing suggestions. The best part is, because we met so often, I didn’t have to spend excess time making an entire playlist, because lovetap knew what kind of music I’d want (which I loved, there is no point to me in hiring a DJ who you supply all the music with, lol). Two, they are extremely professional with plentiful equipment (top notch brand mics/speakers) and set up your ceremony with mics and speakers. Three, they are FUN! I got so many compliments from my guests that that was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding (we had DJ Nem but my sister also attended a wedding with Conner as the DJ and said the same— can’t go wrong with either). Beyond that, Nem was so creative to grab a part of my husband’s vows from the ceremony and turn it into our very own mixed song for the dance floor, with his voice and everything. Seriously does it get any better? I really could not rave about this company enough. Don’t look any further for a DJ— I’m serious— just book lovetap.

YES! We've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because we're there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. We love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, we might not play them... we use discretion to ensure your vision is brought to life.)

We only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.

Yes. We carry $2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).

We have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack the experience required to truly move a dance floor. Each of our DJ's actually mixes the music and uses the turntable as an instrument, not just "hitting play." The result is a unique ability to transform what would otherwise be "just another dance" into an unforgetable journey through music.

All of our DJs are true "Open Format DJs". This means we play every genre and mix seamlessly between them, resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.

We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures we have plenty of time to setup, soundcheck, and change into our snazzy suit or tux ;)

We quote weddings as projects with an all in fee that includes travel and breakdown. Our standard rate covers anything near either of our 2 "home" markets (San Diego and San Francisco) but for weddings in LA / Palm Springs / Arizona / or abroad - we quote an "all in" rate for our services.

Absolutely! We only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. We also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree in the vineyard where power isn't readily available)

Typically we wear a black or blue suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings we can also wear a tux. ◡̈

Yes! we work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
