My name is Melinda, and I’m the DJ of MadLove. My love for music started as a kid, heavily influenced by my older sister, which led to my deep appreciation for ‘90s and early 2000s R&B. Over time, my passion grew, and through my experience in the wedding industry, I’ve expanded my music library to cater to all genres. Transitioning from the nightclub scene to weddings was a complete 180, but the warmth and love we received from the wedding community made me stay.

What sets us apart is representation and inclusivity. Female DJs—especially queer female DJs—are rare in this industry, and that visibility matters. At MadLove, we believe that all forms of love deserve to be celebrated. We take pride in creating personalized playlists that reflect each couple’s unique love story, ensuring that their special day feels truly one-of-a-kind.
