For 20+ years I’ve made weddings feel effortless by guiding the flow, reading the room, and keeping every generation dancing. Marty from MC DJ Marty Miz was an incredible addition to our wedding day. From the start, he spent a lot of time with us going over every detail to ensure our special day went smoothly. He provided great suggestions and recommendations that really helped us feel prepared and confident. On the day of, Marty's skills as a master of ceremonies were on full display. He had an incredible knack for reading the room and playing the perfect music to keep the dance floor packed all night long. One of the most special moments was when Marty thoughtfully arranged for my mom, who is ill with leukemia, to have a mother-daughter dance with me, and then my daughter was able to dance with her mom and so on!Marty's kindness, consideration, and professionalism made him an invaluable part of our wedding, and we highly recommend him to any couple looking for an amazing DJ and MC.

Marty Miz was the perfect DJ and MC for our wedding. From the very first time we spoke with him, his communication style was clear, warm, helpful and understanding. He took the time to understand the vision for our music-themed wedding and helped bring every moment to fruition. Marty's work was outstanding; he exceeded our expectations in numerous ways. He ensured that my young daughters were prepared and comfortable singing during our first dance, and he even helped orchestrate a surprise flash mob for my husband, which was a huge hit with our guests. Marty's positive energy and professionalism shone through the entire night, and he was the only one who captured the epic dance party on video. We couldn't be more thankful to have had Marty as part of our special day.

We got married on 11/23/24. Marty was our DJ and was absolutely amazing! We wanted to change a few of the traditional parts of the wedding reception and he was more than accommodating. He helped us come up with ideas to incorporate the guests and start our wedding with high energy. He was always quick to respond and a great help in guiding us on how to find the right flow for our wedding to help get the vibe we were looking for. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night and there was never a lull! Since our wedding we have heard from so many people how much fun they had and a big part of that is because we had a great DJ that helped create the best energy for our wedding night!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Marty for our wedding this past August, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, Marty was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He took the time to meet with us ahead of time to understand our vision and seamlessly tailored the music to suit the vibe of the crowd. One of the most impressive things about Marty was his ability to get everyone—young and old—on the dance floor. It was amazing to see people of all ages having such a great time together! It really was all we wanted and he helped make it the perfect day. If you’re looking for a DJ who is not only talented but also approachable and accommodating, Marty is the one. Most of my couples invest between $2,000 and $3,500 depending on hours, MC needs, lighting, and extras like a photo station. I’ll suggest the best-fit option once I know your plan. Would you like me to check your date and suggest the best-fit option?

Yes. I’m your DJ and MC. I guide the flow, make clear announcements, and coordinate with your planner, venue, and vendors so you can just enjoy the night.

That’s the goal. I read the room in real time and blend your must‑plays with crowd‑pleasers so the dance floor stays full without cheesy tricks. Which 3–5 must play songs feel like “you”?

I’ve worked at most, if not all, of the top local venues and happily coordinate with your team. If it’s a new location, I scout setups or connect with the venue so nothing’s left to chance. Which venue are you celebrating at?

Yes it's a service I offer. Full‑room wireless uplighting and dance floor lighting are available. It makes the room feel like a celebration and looks great in photos. Would you like me to include uplighting in your options?

Absolutely. I coordinate set lists, transitions, and band breaks so it feels like one seamless party. I can integrate with their system when appropriate and bring my own controller/backup. Will you be having a band as well as a DJ?

Yes, fully insured, and I always bring backup equipment. Do you need me to send a COI to your venue?

Give me your must‑plays, do‑not‑plays, and the vibe you want. I’ll fill in the rest, take requests (if you want), and read the room to keep energy high. Do you want a simple planning call to start your music list?

Yes. Separate, discreet setup with microphones and music so every word is heard clearly.

Most couples book 5–6 hours for reception. We can add ceremony/cocktail hour, and I always check with you before overtime. How many hours are you considering for your reception?

Quick chat to learn your vision, a proposal with clear pricing, and a retainer to reserve the date. Then we plan the timeline, names, and moments together. Would you like me to check availability and send a proposal?

Yes, I live on the Norht Shore and I travel beyond for the right clients. Travel and setup are included in your proposal so there are no surprises. What city and venue should I plan for?
