A Greek in the Kitchen is a catering business rooted in family tradition and inspired by the flavors of Greece. Founded in Austin in 2000, I bring together decades of experience and a love for creating memorable meals for weddings, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds. From authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes to customized menus that reflect modern tastes and dietary needs, every spread is crafted with care, intention, and the joy of sharing food with others.

What makes A Greek in the Kitchen unique is the personal connection behind every dish. My cooking is deeply inspired by my grandmother’s recipes and the traditions of my Greek heritage, yet flexible and creative enough to meet each client’s vision—whether that means a classic Mediterranean menu, a Whole30-friendly spread, or a custom wedding feast. Beyond the food itself, I pride myself on making events feel warm, personal, and effortless, so hosts can truly enjoy their celebration while I take care of the rest.

The menu Crissi curated for our Greek-themed wedding was absolutely delicious and perfectly aligned with the vision we had in mind.     I have had the pleasure of experiencing A Greek in the Kitchen's delicious food on a handful of occasions-- private events, catered dinners, and the Austin Greek Festival, to name a few-- and have yet to be disappointed. The care in which the events were planned, the presentation of the food, and the food itself were nothing short of perfection! Some of my favorites are the homemade whipped feta, olive tapenade, and the spanakopita. At each event the entire spread looked beautiful and tasted amazing, looking forward to enjoying it again soon!
