    Our wedding took place in July 2025 at the Foundry. We were in touch with The Fork Goes on the Left for almost an entire year beforehand getting everything ready for the big day. Mellanee worked tirelessly with us throughout all the months leading up to our event, answering emails on the smallest details and helping to guide us through the process. This was not only about selecting the food, but also getting all of the moving pieces right, down to the linens, the glasses, the cutlery, etc. Even helping us to print out special menus. And we live in a completely different time zone on the other side of the world – it couldn’t have been easy! But she was always on top of every step. The whole The Fork Goes on the Left team made the entire day spectacular from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and so many guests came up to us and let us know how much they enjoyed each course. The passed hors d’oeuvres and charcuterie were full of variety (this team can really do any kind of cuisine!) and presented so professionally – I found myself going back over and over during the night to grab more. Our salads and mains came out so beautifully for our outside family style dinner, and the portion sizes were perfect. The bartenders were excellent, and the team even worked with us to put together three specialty drinks, all of which were delicious and a huge hit with our team. But it wasn’t just the food – the service and attention to detail delighted all of our guests. I am a planner, and all of the staff worked so well with me to make sure everything was going smoothly all night long. It really took the stress out of it for me. I think even a few of her staff left as good friends to our family members by the end of the night. Hats off to The Fork Goes on the Left from us, we couldn’t have asked for a better team! Would highly recommend their team for your event.

    Everything about our wedding day was perfect - the venue, the weather, all of our friends flying in to help us celebrate… but the food? OH MY GOODNESS. It was easily the thing our guests complimented most. Mellanee was practically a celebrity by the end of the night!! Seriously, our guests raved about the catering. My brother asked to meet Mellanee just so he could thank her personally for the ox tail spring rolls, lol. The Fork Goes on the Left stood out for their menu creation, artfully designed to accentuate our Jamaican, Filipino and Italian heritage. Mellanee was able to accommodate all of our requests, while providing invaluable insight from her professional experience. She handled our wedding trial and day with the utmost of care. I’m forever grateful we decided to go with a caterer whose love shines through her food (as opposed to one of the larger companies we were considering). Her staff was professional and made sure dinner service was handled efficiently. Our wedding memories wouldn’t be quite the same without Mellanee and The Fork Goes on the Left. If you want a reliable professional with a knack for making delicious food, you’ve just found it.
