We started this floral design company to follow our passion for flowers and create the wedding of your dreams. We are based in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, but travel throughout New England to service our clients. We specialize in creative and detailed designs. Every client is unique and we love to showcase that through our designs.
We take the time to get to know our clients and understand their vision for their day. We create impeccable designs while being respectful of their budget. We will involve the couple as much or as little as they would like.

A Must Hire!
The Dirt Empress was a fantastic florist for our wedding. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent - they were responsive, informative, and helped us bring our vision to life. The quality and beauty of their work exceeded our expectations. They arrived on time, were fully prepared, and executed the floral decor flawlessly. I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the flowers were, and I could not be happier with their services!
The best and kindest Florist!!
It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how absolutely beautiful the day was. Liz and her team were the central part of that. With a December winter wedding, many of the traditional floral options were not applicable, but with Liz's guidance, we realized very quickly that just because most flowers may not be in season, doesn't mean that it is still not an absolutely beautiful time of year. Liz and her team effortlessly draped beautiful garland throughout our venue, transformed the central staircase into something out of a storybook, and made a winter arch piece that it still hanging on our front porch as a stunning winter decoration. It was dotted with cinnamon sticks, and ornaments, and dried orange peels in a way that we could never have thought of. It was so creative and magical and made it clear that Liz had seen our vision and expanded on it in such an incredible way. Additionally, when Liz walked in with the bridal bouquets, everyone could not stop admiring and obsessing over them. With the gorgeous variety of blooms and greens, it was truly the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined. Even more so than the pinterest boards we all obsess over. Lastly, Liz's professionalism was second to none. She made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the process. She was even able to incorporate pieces of my gown that had been cut off during alterations to add an even more personal, and sparkly(!), touch to the bouquets. I cannot recommend Liz enough. She made my husband and I feel so special and seen during our day, and I hope that you are lucky enough to feel the same way!

I had a wonderful experience working with The Dirt Empress for my full planning client wedding. They were incredibly responsive, receptive, and quick to communicate throughout the planning process. The floral arrangements they created were absolutely beautiful, with a unique and forward-thinking design that exceeded expectations.
