I'm a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. My background is in TV and working for several beauty companies across the country. We do a lot of maternity/family session hair & makeup during the week and weddings on weekends. However, I'm always down for a weekday wedding having eloped myself. Our beauty team specializes in natural makeup applications and romantic hair styling. We travel to you for your special day or event.

Our artists all have a similar esthetic and style. We pride ourselves on being really nice and easy to work with- highly organized, great at communicating and answering any questions you have along the way. We all REALLY love what we do and can't wait to make you feel your best on such an important day!

The stylists & makeup artists from Eye for Beauty were a fantastic addition to our wedding team! I was thrilled with my bridal hair & makeup and it was nice to work with a single team for all services. Angela absolutely nailed my makeup during our trial and again on wedding day - she achieved the perfect elevated natural look and had a gentle application, which was important to me & my sensitive eyes! I did two hair trials with Jess and I couldn’t be happier with the final result, it really suited my whole bridal look. Jess was very receptive to my feedback after the first trial and was easy to work with both before & on wedding day. Mayra rounded out the styling team for wedding day and my bridal party & mom looked gorgeous. One note for brides - Westport CT is listed as EFB’s location on Zola, but trials take place in Trumbull CT - worth it even if this is a bit further for you, but helpful to know! The ladies from EFB were a delight to have with us the morning of our wedding and had excellent time management (so important!). I would recommend Eye for Beauty!
Hair and Makeup Lasted all Day

Kim and Darlin are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are super friendly and do such a great job taking your hair and makeup inspo and making it reality. They were ahead of schedule and worked quickly while still having perfect hair and makeup that lasted the entire night. They make sure everything is just how you like it and are happy to switch anything you may want to change. They're also able to accommodate larger groups and are super reasonable with all their services! Definitely recommend them for other bridal parties and brides on their special day! Kim also is the fastest person to ever answer emails which made it stress free.

The owner Kim was very unprofessional, cancelled the morning of my wedding, and ignored my emails afterwards. I had 2 make up artists and 2 hair stylists scheduled for me and my wedding party. Kim, the owner, was scheduled to do my makeup as she had done my makeup trial. She texted me, not even called, 2 hours before she was supposed to be at the location to tell me she was unable to come. She DID NOT send a make up artist in her place. With only 3 out of the 4 scheduled people showing up, our time was incredibly rushed. I had 7 bridesmaids in addition to myself. As the bride going last, my hair and makeup suffered the most. The makeup artist who ended up doing my makeup had no notes from Kim from my trial and did not have the same products used in the trial. My hair was rushed and fell completely flat within the hour. My bridesmaids had to track down a curling iron and recurl my entire head before the ceremony. Kim did not ONCE reach out after my wedding day to see if everything went okay in her absence. I had to reach out to her to discuss my issues with the services. I offered to speak with her on the phone several times and she declined each time, she only communicated over email with me. When I explained my issues, she was less than sympathetic. I asked for a partial refund on the wedding day services, since she only provided 3 out of 4 contracted stylists, but she ignored my email. I followed up several times, but she stopped responding all together. Overall, very unprofessional and created a lot of added stress for me as a bride on my wedding day.

While my grandpa’s heart stopped requiring me to step away that morning, I did everything I could to ensure your day still ran smoothly. I immediately communicated the situation with you via text and email in which you responded “I’m sorry to hear about your grandpa and I understand.” I felt confident the remaining team of both hair and makeup artists could accommodate your services, and trusted them to deliver exceptional work, as they consistently do. I completely understand how important this day was, and I regret that my absence caused you any frustration. I also want to note that when you reached out following the wedding, I responded promptly, issued a refund as requested, and offered my sincere apologies for the situation. At Eye For Beauty, professionalism and delivering a stress-free, beautiful bridal experience are at the heart of what we do. I am truly sorry this was not your experience, and I wish you nothing but happiness in your marriage and future.

Eye For Beauty CT was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, were easy to talk to, and extremely happy to address all of my questions and concerns. The quality of their work was nothing short of impeccable - Kim did my hair and makeup exactly the way I envisioned it, and I felt flawless on our special day. She was on time for our appointment and always had a wonderfully friendly demeanor that made it feel like having a friend getting ready with me. Kim was very patient, listened intently to my requests, and made sure I was completely satisfied. I cannot recommend Eye For Beauty CT highly enough for any bride-to-be looking for a top-notch beauty team to help make their special day truly unforgettable.
