This ceremony is for us to create something that fits the two of you and feels authentic. We create it together. I will write your Love Story and share it with you and your guests on your wedding day. I will help you with your vows and I'm there throughout the process to answer any and all questions. I'm also there on the wedding day to help you have fun and not be stressed. My job is to make this ceremony and your day awesome!

My husband and I had so much fun working with Heidi from Love Story Vows! From the moment we met Heidi and her wonderful photographer husband, Alan, we knew they were the perfect duo for our Safari Park wedding. They were helpful, communicative, and constantly positive. With Heidi's easy to follow resources and clear questionnaires and forms, together we created the most perfect, nature-centric ceremony. Many of our guests were blown away by our heartfelt ceremony and details of our love story. As a type A bride, Heidi and I had a lot of back and forth emails trying to get the ceremony just right, and she even added a special piece about the symbolism between the Safari animals and our marriage, something very important to us. I think we must have called to the animals, because the most serendipitous thing happened during the ceremony-- a parade of several giraffes came galloping along right behind us, right before I was going to say my vows. We were all completely awestruck, it was just the perfect moment. When we look back on our wedding day, we are blessed to have memories of Heidi's calming and reliable presence. She gave us water, positivity, and delivered the most beautiful ceremony. Our guests who had the chance to meet Heidi, shared with us what a kind person she was. Many also said they loved the tone of her voice and how she was very professional and had the audience in control. Heidi and Alan are both so knowledgeable about weddings, and with their help we felt confident that we had a solid timeline. We felt very well taken care of in their presence. Thank you!

Heidi is the perfect blend, she's amazing for her couples, and she's a professional and supportive part of the team covering the big day. She has a calm, relaxed, yet focused demeanor about her, informing the vendors about what she's going to do and when so there's no surprises. For her couples, she has the feel of an old friend or part of the extended family, and that keeps the couple in the moment and able to enjoy the experience. Heidi is an all around amazing officiant and we always love working with her!

Heidi is an absolute gem of a human. She came recommended to us by our wedding photographers and was the perfect officiant for our LA elopement. We felt a connection to her from the very beginning and she made us feel like family. Over the course of several months, we worked together on crafting our personalized ceremony that included a hand fasting and tarot card pull. We then completed a questionnaire that was used to tell our love story. I was genuinely taken aback at the heartfelt way our answers wove together to tell the story of our relationship. I should also mention how meaningful it was that our final tarot card that we pulled was The Heirophant - literally the marriage card. It made our ceremony feel even more magical! We are so grateful for her involvement in making our day perfect — and we are glad to call her Aunt Heidi!

I just finished officiating my 650th ceremony since I started in 2016! I started officiating weddings after being a wedding planner. I had top wedding officiants mentor me so I learned from the best female wedding officiants in the country! Every ceremony I do is different, I encourage my couples to let me personalize their ceremony. The best way to do that is to have me write their Love Story, that's always fun for me to write and to share with all their guests. I love what I do and I love my couples, each one of different and my job is to make sure they love their ceremony too!

No, I don't offer premarital counseling and I don't require it. I do suggest if you feel that you need it, there's amazing professional marriage and family counselors who will help you. I'm always here for my couples as someone who has had an amazing relationship with their husband for over 25 years and can share personal advice from my relationship.

I started working as a professional wedding planner in 2010 for my photographer husband's couples. In 2016, I hired two of the top female wedding officiants in California to mentor me. Since then, I have created over 650 personal wedding ceremonies, most with me writing their Love Story! I still love what I do and most of my couples are still friends with me.

Of course, I can! The only thing I need for my records, for the state of California would be a copy of your certified marriage license proving that you were legally married.

With all three of my packages, there are many options to personalize your ceremony. With my top package the ceremony is 100% customizable along with me writing your Love Story. The middle package is mostly customizable and has a mini Love Story and the least expensive package has some personalizations but no Love Story.

Most venues have an onsite coordinator so I usually don't need to do the rehearsal. Traditionally, the only things being rehearsed are the order the wedding party walks and where they stand up at the arch. Then maybe practicing the kiss and the order the wedding party walks out. I'm actually known for walking my couples through their ceremony as it is happening. Unless it's a very complicated ceremony with unusual things happening, I don't need to be at the rehearsal. If you want me to be there, the cost is $175 depending on my availability. I do lots of weddings and sometimes the rehearsal is at the same time as my other weddings.
