My first wedding was for my best friend and her fiancé in November 2011. I was confident that I would do a great job, after all I was a theatre arts major and excelled in all my creative writing courses. I received many compliments on that ceremony. I considered officiating full time but I was a working mom with two children. Fast forward several years, those kids grew up and moved on and I was enjoying my retirement.
