Jenny captured the essence of our wedding day! The love, the fun, the energy, all of it! She navigated funky family dynamics and made my camera shy husband feel & look like the dreamboat he is! Looking at our pictures a year later, I'm so grateful for Jenny. I'm not left with a photo dump. Every picture is so good and hand curated. Its a collection, each picture chosen for a reason. I found Jenny via Instagram and was immediately in love with her work and knew she was the perfect photographer for my wedding. We hit it off from the get go and our engagement photoshoot with her solidified that we had definitely made the right choice with her. We had a very specific fantasy themed vision with both the engagement and wedding photos and Jenny captured everything beautifully. On top of providing amazing photos, Jenny provided great support throughout the wedding planning process and brought a calm confidence day-of that truly helped settle everyone's nerves. Her second shooter did an amazing job as well, they were such a fun team to be around! The other AMAZING part about hiring Jenny as our photographer is that we got sneak peaks of our wedding day photos less than a week after the event and we got all of our edited photos around 1.5 months after the wedding!! Every single person we have shown our photos has gasped at how beautiful they are. Photography was THE most important thing to me about my big day and I am beyond thrilled with my results.

Jenny Markham Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the beginning, Jenny was open to all of our ideas and easily accessible, making the planning process a breeze. Her whimsical style and ability to capture photos with a sense of motion and energy were exactly what we were looking for. I remember Jenny told me that she would never make us do anything just for a photo and would never make us do anything twice - she wanted our photos to be natural, which I loved. On the day of the wedding, Jenny fit seamlessly into the background, working hard to capture all of the special moments, both big and small. She found the perfect spot for our first look and even helped me recreate some shots I had seen on Pinterest. Jenny was also flexible and accommodating when we surprised her with a first look request with my dad and grandfather. Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Yes! I edit with a true to life and color tone. My edits are inspired by my film photos, for a vintage feel.

Absolutely! I am based in Orange County, California but available worldwide. No destination is too far and I would love to discuss details about how to get me to your location! Traveling is one of my biggest passions and I am always excited to get the chance to go somewhere new!

I am laid-back and like to keep the day simple, fun, and capture you authentically. I direct you when needed for portraits and family photos. I am an observer, always looking for quiet moments of connection to document. Making people feel seen and empowered through co-creating art together is what I live for. A combination of editorial and candid with true to life colors is my jam.

I deliver your images on a beautiful online gallery for you to download, share and print from. Weddings and Elopements are delivered within 8 weeks and sessions are delivered within 3 weeks!

Being able to offer both digital and film photography is something that I am passionate about. I shoot film very intentionally as it is a lot slower medium. I typically shoot 2-4 rolls of film per wedding.

A deposit is required to secure your date, and after that the remaining payments will be split in 2. If you would prefer monthly payments we can set that up for you as well! I am always willing to work with you on what fits you best. Credit Cards are accepted (get those points baby!)

YES! This is SO important to me. This is safe place for all lovers. No matter your race, religion, sexuality, gender identity you are welcome and celebrated here! I am grateful to have experience working with so many different couples. You and your needs, desires, and fears matter to me. If there is anything you need to feel most comfortable please do share!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
